Chapter 6: Getting to Know Each Other ...Sorta

Dedicated to Cubone for being an amazing person. Sadly my birthday is today and school was torture because of my AMAZING friends shouting it out. 

Jason POV

We got up and it was awkward to say the least. She led me up to her room and I - of course- followed. I looked around the walls and saw that there were pictures of her - of all different ages- hanging on the walls. Then one caught my eye.

It showed Percy in a group of other battle worn teens. Their shirts were ripped and torn, and cuts, bruises, and blood were still on them. They all had tears in their eyes as well as hope.

Percy stopped when she noticed that I had stopped. ''They are my friends and we had all just finished fighting in the second Titan War against Kronos. We lost a lot of brave and honorable souls, and I should have been there to save them. They had so much potential and life left in them.... It should have been me" She whispered that last part as if she didn't want me to hear it but I did. When she was talking about the fallen ones she looked happy as if remembering some good times with them. 

She turned away and dragged me towards her room. 

It was sort of messy, but otherwise okay. The walls were blue, and her bed was a sea green color. There was a desk with a lot of papers that were either in stacks or just randomly placed. She led me over to her drawers, and she motioned me to look away, so I did. She led me to the bathroom and well she turned on the shower.

I looked at her as if she were insane. She just rolled her eyes at me.

Percy POV

I needed to take a shower, but I am NOT going to undress in front of someone I just met. So I just turned on the shower.

I turned to Jason and said," I'm going to take a shower and I am just going to get in with my clothes on okay?"

He looked at me weirdly and scooted closer to the shower while I got in. With our hands still connected I  got the curtain and pulled it. I made sure that I couldn't be seen by him, and I made the water take off my clothes. I formed  water hands and concentrated on them helping me shower and wash my hair.

After about ten more minutes I was done showering and asked," Hey Jason can you had me my clothes please and please close your eyes when you hand me them."

Jason POV

I was confused because Percy was only using one hand to take a shower and she couldn't have gotten her clothes off by herself without using her other hand. So when she asked me to get her clothes I got it and opened the curtain. And I well.... didn't hear her when she told me to close my eyes....so.... when I opened the curtains I expected to see Percy with the close she went in the shower with.

But instead I saw that she wasn't wearing anything, and I stared at her shocked at just what was happening.

Percy POV

When Jason opened the curtains he had his eyes open and he was staring at me in shock, so my response was taking the clothes and shutting the curtain as quickly as possible. As I grabbed my clothes my chest touched part of his hand and I felt a tiny spark of electricity run up through me.

I was blushing and I as infuriated that he had the nerve to not shut his eyes. So I again willed the water to dress me.

Jason POV

Percy looked very alarmed and took the clothes from my hands rather quickly, but um.... her chest sort of.... um... touched my hand as she took the clothes. She shut the curtains in my face.
