Chapter 9: What is this?

Previously on love and despair...

I turned around and saw..

"Mr.Cullen what are you doing in the woods at this time?" I said as I twisted back around.

"I heard you screaming 5 minutes ago and it scared me so I decided to look where it was" Carlisle said. "Please call me Carlisle". "Well ok Carlisle I appreciate your concern but can you please help me down?" I said feeling the blood rush to my head. Ok and he flipped me over holding me close once I was down. With me still on his back as soon as his feet touched the ground I was off his back not wanting to send the wrong message. "So, thanks" I said awkwardly. He suddenly stiffened and look over my shoulder. I went to turn around and saw a blonde haired man and a black man with dreads. I turned back to Carlisle only to see his teeth snarled. "James, Laurent what are you doing here?"

"Oh you don't see this lovely human there in front of you do you?" James said

"James is just playing we would never hurt your human friend but we do need your help with the volturi" Laurent said stepping forward.

"Why would we help you after all the pain you cause my family especially Bella and Renesmee" Carlisle said.

"Oh I don't know maybe because I have your son's La tua cantante" with that he ran over to me grabbed me then ran back with James in less than a second and before I could realize his teeth were at my neck and the rest of the Cullens were in front of me. I looked up at Jasper so scared for my life and he did nothing but stare at Laurent ready to pounce on him.

"Now Now all we need is your help with Victoria and that's it" James said looking along the line of the Cullens amused.

"Victoria! There's no way in hell she is still alive I killed her!" Edward said stepping forward only to have Carlisle push him back.

Bella looks horrified and Renesmee looks too nervous for a 7 year old making me think what happened between them and Victoria.

"Well you see we got friends that just so happen to be witches and they love to help us when we need it so you can put the pieces together on that one"said the ignorant blonde.

So let's sum this up I'm in a uncomfortable position and they are talking about stuff that leaves me wondering and one question lingers WHO OR WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE PEOPLE!

Jasper and Edward and Carlisle all looked at each other with no expression. Edward nodded as if he could read their minds.

"Fine we will help as long as it's nothing drastic but you going to have to let the girl go now." Carlisle said sternly.

"Wonderful wonderful" blondie said clapping his hands.

"Laurent" he said and soon I felt the pressure leave my skin and I saw a quick flash and as I looked around I saw I was back with the Cullens with Jasper's arms around my waste but, him still having a hard gaze on Laurent and James.

"We will have to meet at the treaty line at mid-day when the moon is full" Laurent said

"We'll see you then" A relieved looking Carlisle said

But, one question still remains what is a La tua cantante?
