You're hired

Hanya walks down the street looking with a buyer's eye even though she has no money. She puzzles over a job Dean could work at. Having no ideas she went to Anteiku. A nice cup of coffee would be perfect to calm her nerves. The door jingles as she walks in. As always Touka greets her and asks what she wants though she already knows. 

"Hey, Touka? I was wondering if Anteiku was hiring?"

"Sorry Han-chan but were all good here."

"Oh. Thanks anyway."

"Why? Were you looking for a job?"

"Its for my brother. He got fired again."

Touka slaps a hand to her face. A long sigh follows. "Again?"

"Yeah. He punched the CEO."

"When is he going to learn? Anyway I'll grab you that coffee." Touka walks away grumbling to herself about Dean. Hanya takes a long stretch while waiting for her coffee. Out the window she watches people pull out umbrellas. Dark clouds fill the sky and rain starts to pour down. From back behind the employee door three voices can be heard fighting.

"What do you mean you quit?!"

"I mean I quit!" 

"Why?"

"Because i'm sicka this boy buggin' me all the time!"

"Calm down. You can quit. Just go tell the manager."

"She can't quit! We have no one else!"

"Shut up. I know where we can get help."

"Sure you do Touka. You know everything."

"I said shut up." The voices die down and it sounds like feet are going up stairs. Touka comes out from the door, walks back to grab a coffee and sits down across from Hanya. She passes the coffee to Hanya and sighs.

"Hey Hanny. Guess what. Your brother is hired."

"Cool. What was all that back there?"

"That was the sound of a job opening."

"When do you want him to start?"

"Bring him by later today. The manager will have a chat with him." Hanya takes a sip of coffee. It was cold. She shrugs at the taste and continues to sip on it. Touka smiles.

"Sorry about the coffee. This one's on the house."

"Touka. This it still delicious. I don't mind paying."

"I'll get you for the next one. Don't worry about it." They share a smile and Touka walks away. It would be six days until Juuzou and Shinohara came back.
