"OHMYGOODNESSGRACIOUSDADWHYDIDNTANYBODYTELLME???!!!!!!!" I screamed into the phone without taking a breath.
"You're welcome, honey. I'll have to call you back later though. I'll be in a meeting for a few hours. You can organize things with Lacey, she'll loop you in on what's going to happen and the itinerary for the tour."
"Okay, Dad! Bye!"
I put the phone down and had another jam session. This was the happiest I've been ever and the best was yet to come. After several hours, I had calmed down and called Lacey as my dad had instructed. Lacey was the general manager of the radio stations we owned here in the UK.
"Hello? Val?"
"Hey Lacey. My dad told me to call you about the 5 seconds of summer tour. Any update on that?"
"Oh yes. You must be very excited to meet them! Your dad told us how he had to get this set up for you because you've been dying to meet them especially the Asian one, right?"
"No, Lacey. I mean, yes I want to meet him but he is not Asian. People tend to get that wrong but you're forgiven.. His name is Calum" I joked. She was just like a big sister to me since she was only 24 so I could joke around with her like that.
"Oh, okay. I stand corrected. There are a lot of details to be discussed about the tour and I have not seen you in ages so how about we go out for a lunch date or something. My treat." She offered.
" I'd love that. When and where?" I asked.
"How about starbucks near your place in an hour?"
"See ya there! Bye! I am so excited" I squealed as we said our goodbyes.
