"What do you want to do, Sam?"
"I don't know."
"How about we play truth or dare?" Ashley offered.
"No, absolutely not!" Jinxx said.
"What if we keep it on the down low with dares?" Jake asked.
"I'm fine with that." Sammi said.
"It's final then. Okay. Andy truth or dare?" CC asked.
"Truth."
"Do you have a new girlfriend?"
"Yes her name is Juliet Simms. Okay. Jake truth or dare?"
"Dare mother fucker!"
"I dare you to make out with...... CC for 2 minutes!"
"What! No!"
"You said dare and that's my dare."
"Fine... Come here CC." CC's eyes went wide but he still got up and walked over to Jake. It was like a total make out session. When they finished I couldn't help but laugh.
"I cant believe it but Cake is real!" There heads turned to me and they ran towards me I ran and hide behind Jinxx who was coming in with popcorn. "Jinxx there trying to kill me!"
"Guys leave her alone."
"She said Cake was real!"
"Well sorry sweetie cant help you then." He stepped out of the way so the guys could get me. CRAP! I ran and boy can I run fast I ran to the back room and hide in there till everything was silence. I opened the door slightly. The hallway was clear so I slowly walked into the lounge room. Bad idea. As soon as I saw everyone but CC and Jake I knew it was a trap I was tackled to the ground and was being tickled. I couldn't stop laughing.
"Please stop."
"Say your sorry."
"I'm sorry for saying Cake." They stopped tickling me and helped me up we walked back to the group and continued the game.
"Okay Sam truth or dare?" Jake asked
"Truth."
"Did you ever have a crush on any of us?"
"Yeah I had a crush on CC when I was younger."
"Oohh." Ashley said.
"Shut up Purdy." I say while giving him the death glare.
"OK you chose now." Jake said.
"Sammi truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"Why did you adopt me?" Everyone went silent. She looked down.
"We had to. Management said that if we where going to get married we had to adopt for publicity." Tears where forming in my eyes. I knew this was to good to be true. I excused myself before they saw me cry. I ran/walked to CC and i's bunk. I managed to climb up by myself I pushed myself into the corner and had my blanket held to my face as I cried.
"Sam? Can I come in?" It was CC.
"I cant stop you this is your bunk also." he laughed.
"Yeah I guess your right." He said as the bunk dipped a little bit. "Come here." CC's arms where out for a hug. I did as I was told. CC held me as I cried. "You wanna know something?"
"What?"
"They like you a lot."
"No they don't they wouldn't have adopted me for publicity."
"They chose you out of all the girls in that orphanage. Why?"
"Pity."
"Samantha we don't know a lot about your background so how can we pity you?"
"I'm sorry for over reacting."
"You took it a lot better then they expected."
"What do you mean?"
"We thought you would run back to the orphanage and tell them some lie so they would take you back."
"You think I want to go back to that hell hole? I was beaten everyday by the cheerleaders for liking your music. They beat me for drawing, talking, or even looking at them."
"I'm sorry."
"This afternoon when Andy followed me the main cheerleader Brooke followed us. I told Andy to go ahead so he wouldn't see them hurt me. They bruised my stomach."
"Can I see it?" I nodded my head and pulled up my shirt. His face looked worried.
"What are these?" He pointed at the burn marks.
"I was adopted 2 times before Sammi and Jinxx. They also beat me, they burned me and they, they raped me." I managed to say the last part easier than I thought but I was still crying.
"Can I tell the rest of the guys so they know to be careful around you?"
"I guess. Do you need me to be there so you can show them the mark?"
"Yes. Can we do it now?"
"That's fine with me." He jumped down and held his hand out for me to grab.
"Thank you, kind sir."
"Your welcome me lady." We both laughed. "Come they need to see this." He pulled me out into the lounge room. The group was talking amongst themselves until they saw us.
"I need you guys to see this. You ready?" I nod my head and he pulls up my shirt so you can see everything that has happened to me.
"Samantha?" Jake said
"What happened?" Ashley asked. Jinxx and Sammi had worried expressions.
"She was adopted 2 times before us and they beat her, rapped her and burned her."
"OMG!" Andy said
"I'm so glad we chose you." Sammi said. Jinxx nodded his head.
"We wanted you guys to know. Especially Andy and Ashley."
"Why us?"
"Andy you smoke she got burned by cigarettes. Ashley your a player you have a lot of...." CC trailed off.
"Omg! I'm not 10 I know you mean sex, CC" everyone laughed at my remark.
"Wait what about that one?" Andy asked as he pointed at the one I received this morning while he was waiting for me.
"Brooke the girl who was following me when you came to help pack. I told you to keep going she said you guys would bring me back in a week tops I asked why she was talking to me since she is usually busy fucking football players."
"I'm sorry its my fault I shouldn't have left you."
"Don't beat yourself up, Andy. For me it was apart of a day to day bassist."
