The Raven
"Good job, dude!"
Joshua Irvin grins, looking at his teammates with a joyful expression. He scores another point for their school's basketball team, adding another 2 points to extend the already huge gap with their opponent.
"Thanks!" Joshua says, tapping one of his teammate's shoulder while running towards the opponent's center player. He looks at the taller guy with a slight smirk, confidence filling his entire being.
Joshua spots the opponent's player trying to pass the ball towards the center player. He quickly snatch it away, dribbling the ball smoothly towards the opponent's ring.
The cheer from the spectators echoes around him, firing him up as he aims to do a three point shot a couple of steps away.
'Alright, let's do this.'

The Rebel
"Beau, honey, can you please come here for a second?"
The handsome guy chuckles at the stupid blonde calling him out. The blonde girl, whose name he cannot really remember, bats her eyelashes seductively while waiting for Beau to come, which adds nothing to her already unappealing aura.
Beau lifts his left arm slightly, pretending to look at the Rolex watch his father bought him on his last birthday. Beau turns his gears on, looking for a reason to kick the blonde out of his apartment.
"I'm sorry beautiful," Beau says sweetly in a tone which makes him internally gag at himself because of how ridiculous it sounds, "But I have to go to my father's business gala."
"Then let me come with you," the blonde replies, resting her perfectly manicured fingers on Beau's shoulder. Beau shrugs her off subtly, moving away to open the door of his apartment; 'softly' forcing the blonde out by the gesture.
"Sorry, no can't do, honey," he smirks, secretly finding the blonde's disappointed face annoying, "I never bring myself a date to any of his gala. I like my status as a free man, after all."
The blonde huffs, looking visibly upset by his rejection, "Okay. But call me again next time, alright, babe?"
Beau nods, waving towards the girl as she exits the apartment with a blow of a kiss.
"Yeah, as if I would call someone like that again," Beau mutters to himself as he closes the door, moving towards his bedroom to dress himself properly.
Beau picks up his discarded jacket and the car key he left near the coffee table earlier while checking his phone to see a message notification that only specified a time.
'It seems like I still have time,' Beau thinks as he opens the apartment door once more, 'I'll be there in five, bro, wait for me.'

The Vain
"What are you looking at, Callista?"
Callista look up to see her best friend Freya's face right in front of her. She points at the part from the magazine that she just read a moment ago, showing it off to her curious best friend with a happy grin.
"This, Frey," Callista says with a wide smile on her face, "I'm reading an article about the Lochness monster! I'm sure that the beast truly exist and is cleverly hiding somewhere below the great lake!"
"BELOW the lake?" Callista frowns at her best friend's questioning tone, not missing her emphasize on the word below, "How on earth does it even hide below the lake?"
"I don't know," Callista shrugs, looking back at the magazine that sits snuggly in her lap, "Maybe the monster digs a hole or something to hide itself?"
"Wha-" Freya slaps her forehead with her right hand, confusing Callista with her actions, "How's that even possible for the monster to dig a hole down there?"
Callista replies with a frown that might just rip her face in half. She huffs loudly, looking up to defend her theory to her dumbstruck friend, "Well, as I said before-"
"Callie! Freya!" A guy from their art class calls out, shocking the two of them slightly, "Do you want to watch the basketball match between our team and the team from neighboring high school?"
"Basketball? I don't even like-"
"Yes, of course we'll go!" Freya excitedly replies, cutting Callista's protest off, "Where is it?"
"Our indoor basketball court," the guy says, smiling happily at the two girls, "Now, come on! Let's hope that there's still a good spot left to watch it."
Freya stands up immediately to follow the guy towards the basketball court, leaving Callista behind. Her frown gets deeper when Freya stops moving only to turn and speeds up towards her.
"Callista, come on!" Freya moans, trying drag Callista forcefully. Freya then snatch the magazine away from Callista when she lets her guard down.
"I'm taking this," Freya smirks, looking victorious as she holds the magazine up in the air, immediately resuming her walk towards the court a moment after that. Callista frowns, huffing before standing up to follow Freya's steps quietly behind.
'Why do I even have to come?' Callista pouts, feeling slightly annoyed at her best friend's forceful nature, 'I don't even like basketball that much.'
Callista keeps walking towards the court in silence, looking around her school's amazing scenery. She silently appreciates the old English castle feels that the school's vintage style building brings to mind.
When the court and the spectator's excitement finally comes into her field of visions, bouts of joy suddenly flows over her entire being.
'Well, this may not be a bad idea after all,' Callista thinks, feeling joyful as she steps inside the basketball court, silently cheering for the team of her school to win the match.
