"Alright, alright. I got one. What. Is your favorite. Movie." Niall said trying to sound dramatic.

We've only been playing this 20 Questions game for about 10 minutes and he's already into it. It's not even a game really, you just ask and answer questions to learn more about a person.

"Hmm. I don't really have a favorite to be honest. Do you?"

He stopped eating my Goldfish crackers and stood up to sit on his bed.

"I think Anchorman is a hilarious movie!" I looked inside the cracker box to see how much he ate.

"Sorry," he said apologizing for almost finishing the whole thing. I smiled and shook my head.

I thought of a really hard question to ask. I didn't want this to get boring or too personal. Although I am dying to know if he's single.

"Okay this one is a little hard. If you had a time machine, would you go back in time or to the future?"

He looked around and thought for a second. He cussed softly. "You're really good at asking questions."

He thought for awhile, "Probably the future. Yeah. Kay my turn! Are you single?"

Did he really just-

"I mean I'm just asking like-"

I couldn't help but blush and laugh a little.

"Yes."

"Oh. Really?" He cleared his throat. "Cool, cool, so am I."

"Why?"

"Well this is 20 Questions so."

"Oh right, right yeah."

I'm starting to get so nervous. God, why can't I just act all smooth and chill around cute guys?

We kept going with this game for about half an hour. Honestly I would've wanted to continue talking to him but I'm exhausted. Niall let out a loud yawn.

"You done?" I said yawning quietly.

He nodded and ran his fingers through his hair, messing it up. He's done that over 20 times in the past half hour.

"I'm gonna go brush my teeth. I just hate the after taste of Goldfish." I grabbed my bag full of toiletries.

"Eh. I'll do it tomorrow," he said.

I slipped on some flip flops just to walk to the bathroom in the hallway. I could here music coming from some dorms. I was the only one in the bathroom. I tied my hair back, away from my face and turned on the faucet for water.

I looked at my reflection in the mirror for a little while. I always had the fear of looking awful when I'm around hot guys. Especially when I'm going to have to wake up to one for a couple months.

And yes. I said it. Niall is hot.

I untied my hair because I prefer going to sleep with my hair loose. I didn't want to take my makeup off. I would not want to imagine how I'd look in the morning if I did.

I shut the light switch off. I shuffled back to the dorm. As I walked in, Niall was wrapped in all his blankets and covers. It does get really cold here in Northern California especially at night. I threw my bag by my closet and slid my flip flops off as well.

"That was fast," he mumbled.

"Was it?" I said wrapping myself in my own blankets.

"Mhm. Nice meeting you Alexandra Summers."

"Niall we're going to see each other in a few hours."

"I know. But you could at least say it was nice to meet me back."

I laughed. I looked over at him before putting my head down. He had his eyes closed and he had a half smile on his face. "I'm waiting," he said in a sing-song tone.

"It was nice meeting you too Niall Horan." His smile became wider.

Two Months Later

November

I blink my eyes open a few times. My eyes feel puffy, like they always do every morning. My eye sight becoming clearer as I stretched.

"You're awake!" I heard a voice call out. I groaned and turned over forcing myself to go back to sleep.

"Good morning sunshine!" Niall said in a sing-song tone. I stayed quiet hoping he would leave me alone.

"Stop pretending you don't hear me right now. C'mon!" I felt a heavy weight on top of me.

"Niall get off of me." I mumbled.

"What? I can't hear you!" he yelled while rolling on top of me.

"Get off! You're not very light Niall!" I yelled back while squirming in the cover, trying to push him off.

"Let's go already!" he said finally getting off of me. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. He was fully dressed already.

"Ugh why do we have to live with each other again?" I complained.

"Because they made a stupid mistake and they said they were going to fix it and they never did. Don't pretend that you don't love me," he replied flicking his imaginary long hair back.

"Yeah, yeah whatever. Where are we going?" I said getting up.

"You promised we would go to the new IHOP restaurant by the mall, remember?" he said in shock that I didn't remember. I actually did remember, I was just hoping he hadn't because I'm so tired. But then again, I do love pancakes.

I slowly started to get changed before Niall got even more annoying. These past two months living with a guy haven't been that bad and Niall has become one of my best friends. There's just times like this where I really wish I didn't have a guy for a roommate.

"Can you be any slower than that?!" Niall said anxiously. He sat down on his bed as he waited for me.

"Man, I'm so going to miss you when I go back home." I said sarcastically. I faced the wall and quickly changed.

"Yes! I can finally just be naked all day now!" Niall said getting up and grabbing his wallet, phone, and keys.

"Niall you're practically naked when I'm here anyways." I said brushing my hair out.

"I am not! Can we just go now?" He begged.

I put my Vans on and grabbed my purse. He had a huge smile on his face and skipped out the door.

"I'm not driving though."

He put the keys in the car and we put our seat belts on. I noticed him fixing his hair in the mirror.

"Are you never not checking yourself out?" I laughed.

"I'm just fixing my hair, gosh. It's not easy dealing with this." Niall said as he messed it up and styled it again. "Ugh! Can you help me?"

I can't say I haven't thought of Niall and I being in a relationship, because I have. But we are not interested in each other and I know nothing is going to ever happen between us.

"Alright, somebody is having a bad hair day." I said trying to fix his hair. He had his head down while facing me. I ran my fingers through his hair. I fixed it so his brown roots were more visible.

"I love your hair."

Wait did I just say that out loud?

"What?" He looked up at me confused.

"Yeah. Like, I don't know it's smooth and...stuff."

"Thank you, I guess. Your hair is pretty too." He said moving a piece of hair in front of my shoulders.

I felt myself blush but tried to ignore it.

"There! It's perfect," he said looking in the mirror.

"You are welcome," I said jokingly.

"Thanks. Alright let's go before my stomach eats me up."
