JUST IF YOU'RE CURIOUS, this was originally a true story, only I changed some details, and also replaced their real names with fake ones. But the people and events are still real.
The boy, 'Conner', didn't actually die in real life.
Vivian Ren is my mom :) (Vivian is a variation of my mom's name and Ren is just a Chinese last name)
The girl whose POV I wrote in, 'Madeline', still remains to be one of my mom's closest friends. In fact, she is my godmother! Yay!
And in real life, 'Conner' and 'Madeline' did have a happily ever after ending. They married and now their baby is almost 2 years old!
