Week of Gossip

Jaleel's P.O.V :

It was the last period of the day before we were able to go home. I looked around to see Erza and Levy sitting together with Gray sitting with me. The teacher, Mr. Freed was late so most of the rest we chatting with each other.

"Hey did you guy's hear about the race this Saturday?"

This conversation interested me so I decided to eavesdrop.

"Yeah, and I hear that Celest and her four friends are gonna be there".

'Celest? Who is that?'

"Oh really? This is gonna be an awesome race, who do you think is gonna race her?".

"I don't know but I heard rumors that White Tigger is".

"That's it were going to that race".

Is it really that big of a deal? The conversation ended there as Mr. Freed walked in begging the long boring class. 'I have so many questions now. Where is this race? Who is this Celest and White Tigger they speak of? What time does it start? And what kind of race is it exactly?'

"andez... MR. FERNANDEZ!" I snapped back to reality to look up to an annoyed teacher.

"Uh... yes sir?"

He signed "I asked you a question, what is the answer?"

Crap, what did he just ask? I look at Gray looking as confused as me, what help you are. "Uh... what was the question again Mr. Freed?"

He mumbled something while rubbing the bridge of his nose. Something about quitting and these dumb ass idiots? "I asked you what was the event when Hitler ruled over Germany and about how many Jews died because of this?"

'Uh great. When did we learn about this and who the hell is this Hitler' I signed putting my head down in complete shame. "I-I... don't know". Some kids snickered.

"Shut it! How bout you Gray?"

Gray just looked away and slowly nodded his head no. Well at least I'm not the only one.

"Okay, how about Erza and Levy answer for us. Or do you guys not know it too?"

Erza and Levy looked at each other before looking back at Mr. Freed and standing up. Levy cleared her throat. "The event was called the Holocaust, sir. It happened during the time period of World War II".

Erza stepped in next. "There were more than six million Jews killed because of their race. There were also other races killed".

Erza and Levy looked at each other before nodding. "The main reason this happened was because Hitler told the Germans' that they are superior race. Believing him the Nazi, Germany's military, rounded them up putting them in concentration camps". They said in sync. Show offs.

"Thank you girls, and boys go back and study this topic tonight, you never know when I'll give you a quiz". He gave a smirk. What kind of teachers are these?

"Yes sir~" me and Gray said looking at the floor as in now has taken all our interest.

(Sorry guys for that history lesson. We just finished World War II in class and the teacher let us watch "The Boy in Striped Pajamas". Some of my class mates came out crying it was hilarious. Oh and my class mates, not the movie that was sad.)

Sigh "I'm gonna take a walk" I open my eyes to look up only to see no one paying a single attention to me. Jaleel look deep in thought, Natsu was stuffing his face, and Gray disappeared probably trying to find his cloths.
