JOHNS POV
The light touch of Zach's lips makes me smile. He places a hand on the side of my head and I leaned on it. We look into each other's eyes and smile. The music stops.
I look over.
My mind stops.
My emotions stop.
My life stops.
My eyes focus on the person at the door.
Tears spill out of his eyes his mouth open. His sadness clouded his eyes, like he was witnessing someone's death right there. I stumble out of the chair and walk forwards tears forming in mine. He backs up, as if I'm hurting him. I am. I have.
"Sherlock-"
"No."
My heart is beating so fast.
"Sherlock, please-"
"No."
He walks backward not even blinking, his depressed gaze focused on mine. His eyes still watering, tears streaming down his face. He trips on something and falls down.
He still moves backwards.
He reaches the door and stumbles out, the edges of his mouth lowered. When he reaches outside he starts running. Running like he was being chased. He was being chased. I ran for him but I was too slow. I yelled his name, but he didn't respond. He kept running. And running.
Tears flood my eyes. He was right. All Watsons are stupid idiots, who don't know what they're doing. I collapse on the ground and curl in a ball. Tears fall to the ground leaving a puddle of sadness. What have I done to him.
