Chapter Five: I'll learn

Chapter Five I'll learn.

Two long years had passed since I had last seen that Jin character and that other woman who looked like Miss Anna. That day will forever prove to me how useless I was and also, how Important I was to Master Kazuya's 'Mission.' I remember it like it was just a recent thing, almost as if it had just happened.

"She is exactly what we need for this mission.."

I'm twelve now...and yet, still to this day, I have no idea to what it meant or what it could mean. As I sat there pondering the light in the hall had switched on and two sharp knocks echoed through out my room.

"Yes? Who is it?"

No reply.

"Anna?"

Nothing.

I sighed heavily, pulling myself off the ground running towards the door opening it to see no one. What in the world? I thought aloud as I walked slowly towards the end of the hall.

-Anna's point of view-

I smiled a wide smile as I slid down the hall brushing past a few doors, well out of sight from Jade as she had the most priceless look on her face. I couldn't help but to let out a snicker as her face grew pale. I swung above her using whatever I could get my hands on and stayed perfectly still. Poor sweetheart. I grinned, swooping down from the chandelier landing silently behind her grabbing her by the arms. The poor baby, she kicked and screamed within my hold like a piglet, begging and pleading as she rocked within my grasp.

"Please no! Let me go! Anna?! Kazuya?!" she wailed as she continued to fight me, I couldn't hold it in any more as this joke had gone on for too long. I burst out laughing, dropping her in the process. I giggled, she looked up at me with a mix of shock, fear and hate. I fell to the floor as I rolled from side to side. Her face was too much!

"Oh I'm sowwy Jadey dear, please forgive me? Kazuya wanted me to test you on your ski-

"Anna, YOU almost GAVE me a HEART ATTACK!" She screamed at me pulling her hair out of her face.

"I know Jade sweetheart, but it was fun and now I also know that you're not ready for what Kazuya will do." I said with a small smile.

She looked at me with confusion as she sat on the floor with me.

"Is Kazuya trying to train me in his ways again?" Jade asked with what I swore could've been fear. Is she afraid of Kazuya?

"Jade no baby, he just wanted to test you...No heavy stuff with him..."

She looked at me and smirked. "Define 'heavy' when it comes to training with HIM?" she laughed.

I too laughed, I knew he isn't always the kind type.

"He'll be good to you. He will." she shook her head at me as I spoke giving me a face that I couldn't help but cup within my palms.

"I promise, NO one's ever going to hurt you love. He may be harsh within his methods but please believe, he'll never hurt you like that." I finished rubbing my nose with hers.

I knew that would make her smile. Just as beautiful as I met her...Two years ago.

-Kazuya's point of view-

We watched them for the moment, devil hissing within my mind and my heart breaking slightly. Yet as always, I keep a placid face, forever stuck in what Anna called the: 'Resting Dick Face.' Male version of what women call the 'The resting bitch face' I chuckled as she spoke.

Resting dick face? How dare she!

Was all that could be heard from the other voice within my mind as I hear the demon cursing and yelling loudly.

I smiled sadly, she was afraid of me. I shifted behind the door frame as I stood there for a moment. I was uncomfortable, the devil screaming at the top of his lungs while Jade and Anna had a family moment. It's not that I felt any disgust towards what was happening between them it was the fact that I wasn't there to participate.

I wanted to be apart of it...Smiling...I smirked as I heard the devil in there calming down, he nestled himself and spoke very quietly, almost like a whisper

"You don't know how to smile, so get that mushy shit out of your head, we have a lot of work to do with Anna and that...Thing." He finished with disgust oozing from his words. I nodded and was on my way back towards my office settling down when I heard two sharp knocks.

"Come in."

"Master Kazuya?" came a small voice

It's that imp here she comes~

"Jade I am not your master, remember? I am Kazuya, or Kaz to you." I corrected once again.

Insect.

I ignored his comment as she came into the room with a bright smile, twirling her hair in bunches, sticking her fists up ready for a fight.

"Master Kazuya I challenge you to a fight."

Silly child.

"Me? Why a fight?" I said with concern, but then it hit me hard...I was supposed to test her this evening.

Yeah Kazuya? How did you forget?~

Be quiet.

"I'm sorry Jade but I have changed your 'Schedule' for now."

She looked at me with a lost expression. Her eyebrows knit together almost forming into one as she spoke.

"Schedule?" she chuckled. "Since when did I have one of those..?"

"Shortly after we learned you could knock me back with those tiny palms."

Bitch managed to hurt you too.

Shut up.

There was an indignant "Hey!" as Jade proceeded to explain how strong she was. I sighed rubbing my temples over leaning forward within my chair, placing my palm over her lips silencing her.

Would've just knocked the parasite out.

"Will there be a problem?"

Jade laughed within my hand tickling me as she pulled my wrist into her face letting me feel her giving me the brightest of her smiles through my palms.

"No actually." she replied muffled.

She was cute. Too cute even. Reminded me of...

He sounded pained...This caught me by surprise as this was rare. It only ever showed emotion for Mika. My eyes lowered as I remembered the tiny girl calling me. Poor child must of been crying all the while she was lost...Calling for me...Or her parents. The demon let out a small whimper as he peered through my eyes looking directly at Jade.

Mika...

As I listened to Jade speak, I could feel a warm sensation spread through my chest. He was happy? I took this opportunity.

Demon let us work with this one. She will do nicely.

The devil said nothing but sighed in content as I could feel the sensation get hotter with each passing moment. This was his moment of weakness, and hoped it would stay like this for a while.
