Living In Twilight

Chapter 2- flashbacks

-Flashback-

It was just a normal day. A 15 year old girl off to school to see her boyfriend.  

As I was walking to school with Emmet he pulled me off the path and up a hill.  

"Lucy?" Enmet said sitting down at the top 

"Yes Emmet?" I replied smiling. Emmet looked worried, he was never worried. Emmet always had a smile on his face. Always making me laugh even in the most serious of occasions. 

"I think we should move in together?!" he exclaimed, that's not something to be worried about? Oh right he's worried I'll say no. "I mean we've been together science we were 12 and we're both nearly 16" Emmet added. "yeah, actually I think we should. It'd be good, for us." I replied head butting him. Emmet's eyes met mine and with that he planted his lips on mine. The kiss seemed to last forever. But in reality it lasted a few seconds. 

"I love you so much Lucy Aimee Jenkins" 

"I love you more!" I replied giggling. Emmet seemed to always win the 'I love you more' battles. Well he did cheat. Tickling me. 

"okay, this time you win. We'll carry this on when we get to school!" Emmet added. Emmet was extremely popular at school. Well with him being captain of the football team ect. He has girls throwing themselves at him literally. One girl even tried to pull his trousers down.  

Whereas as I'm not so popular. I'm not a slut ad I'm not a nerd, I'm a sub in the cheerleaders but I hardly do anything. The only time I'm 'used' is when there's a competition on. You see, I can more things than the team can. As in moves. When me and Emmet came to high school we were already in love. Even though we had been going out a few months or so. I joined the cheer leading squad after my best friend put my name down for tryouts. God how I hated her! Well I loved her 'cause she was my best friend but I really didn't want to tryout.  

I explained to the coach I didn't want to be a mainstream cheerleader, I managed to persuade her to only let me do competitions. We haven't lost one yet.

-Flashback ends-

Sorry it's a short chapter but I had to explain a bit about when Emmet and Lucy were together. It's set in 1996 as they'd be about 17. Well Emmet wouldn't have been but Lucy would have, The next chapter will be another flashback but further ahead in life. Well when they move in together:)
