•" I think I can do do it?"•

Omniscient.

Kamara sat on a bench in the soaking rain waiting for August to arrive. A Ferrari pulled up and the window rolled down revealing August. Kamara stood up and walked to his car.

"I'm soaking wet"Kamara mumbled. He searched around his car and then landed on the plastic covering. He covered the seat up.

"Thea' ya go"He smiled showing his bottom grill. Kamara opened the door and sat in. She quickly closed and sighed. "I figured you would need sum' to dry yaself off"

August handed her a Tommy Hilfiger towel. Kamara scoffed but the used it to wipe her face off and dry most of her body. August drove off.

"Thank you"Kamra whispered.

"Ya welcome, so, how did you getcha' ass stuck outchea' in the rain"He asked. It was silent then Kamara started to sniffle and soon broke out into tears. "My bad, did I say sum'"

"No, it's just I recently told my parents and they just got so angry at me and and I just don't know what to do"Kamara cried and put her head in her hands. August stood there not knowing to do.

He barley knew the girl, he didn't know what upsetted her and how to cheer her up. She looked up shaking her head.

"Your hair is still wet"

She grabbed the hair tie that was on her hand and put her wet, curly hair up in a ponytail. No matter how famous the August Alsina was, she didn't want to open up to him, he was a complete stranger.

"Can you possibly drop me off at my store?"Kamra asked.

"I didn't know you had a store, what's the name?"

"KB"She replied.

"I heard of your store. My Sista in law is obsessed with Rihanna, so after she found out she went thea' she been wantin' ta' to ever since"

Kamara smiled.

"Thea's that beautiful smile"August laughed which caused Kamara to blush. "Does KB stand for anything?"

"Kamara's boutique. But when I was making the sign, I didn't know how to spell it so I just said KB"I smile dead August laughed.

"You was born here or from some whea' else?"August asked.

"I'm from Alabama."

"Ahh, I knew that country ass accent"

"Okay one, I don't have and accent, and two, you can't talk about nobody's accent"

"Baybeh I don't have an accent"He smiled knowing he does, he just wanted to get under her skin.

"Alright August"

It was silent then August stopped. "Thea's been a accident"

Kamara nodded.

"So yeah I um went to the appointment"Kamara stumbled trying to start up the conversation.

"How did it go?"

"It went well, I got pictures if you would like to see?"

August nodded. Kamra slip the paper bag from her purse. Luckily it didn't get wet. She took the pictures out and handed it to August.

"Damn man. I still can't buh'lee dis is happenin' "August smiled. I looked out the window looking at the people getting out there car to stretch. I nodded along.

He turned on the music and he inched the car up a little bit. My phone rang and I answered it.

"Hey Brandi"

"Girl! Mark just stayed my hair, to the gods honey."Brandi exclaimed. I chuckled s little bit.

"Y'all better not get hair everywhere? Tell him to cleanup afterwards. Any appointments today?"I asked.

"One at 4. Another one at 6"

"Alright, well I'm on my way to the shop so when I get there, I betta not see hair all over the ground"

"Okay momma chill"

Kamara laughed and hung up the phone.

"Can I keep one of these pictures?"He asked.

"Sure."

He grabbe done out the bag and handed me the rest. I placed it back in my purse and he put it between his sun shield. The traffic started to lighten up and my clothes were dry by now.

"August, will you be able to make the next appointment?"Kamara asked while they got off the interstate.

"I'll have to check in schedule"

Next Day

Kamara made her way to the front pews. Like every normal Sunday, she went to her dads church.

"Morning baby"Kamra's mom smiled while sitting down next to her.

"Is he still mad?"Kamara asked while hanging her head down. Her mom sighed.

"Baby he's not mad, just disappointed. Your his little girl and he doesn't want your future to go into a bad turn."

Kamara

I sat and thought on what my mom said as my dad was preaching. My mom had to soon get up to join the choir.

I stood up clapping along to the music as my dad sat down in his chair.

The service was finally over, it seemed like forever. I stood up meeting with my father. Hi eyes softened pulling me into a tight hug.

"Daddy I'm sorry"I started to cry.

"It's okay baby, your mom and I will be with you every step of the way."
