I don't know this person. He can't be the same guy that I met months ago.
"I'm sorry? What did you say?" I questioned, cupping my hand behind my ear to make sure I heard him clearly.
"I said fuck you, Craig. This shit is too much, my nigga. Find somebody else to bother, dude."The sand between my toes sent a cooling sensation through my body, as I watched him turn his back on me and slowly walk away. His words processed in my mind and I reached in my back pocket, pulling out my mini pistol. I focused my vision on his shrinking silhouette in the nightsky and took aim with a trembling hand. The moonlight reflected off of the weapon, slightly blinding me, but I knew I had a clear shot. I felt no emotion as I pulled the trigger, making the bullet pierce the atmosphere, and it's target.
As I watched his body hit the sand, my knees vanished, bringing me closer to the Earth's crust. With a small jolt of energy filling my body, I crawled close to his cold body and brushed his once flowing curls from his face. In a moment of disbelief, my thoughts were screaming loudly, muffling the sound of the waves crashing in the distance. I can't believe I just ended everything that I've ever wanted, but I can't continue to live like this. Always wanting and never having. I bent down and connected our lips, pretending that the warmth that was once there still radiated throughout my body, and with a shaky hand, I brought the gun to my face, squeezing the barrel between my lips, letting my tongue savor the metallic taste of death. A single tear rolled down my cheek and onto the dry dirt, turning it to mud. With my other hand, I interlaced my fingers with his and pulled back on the trigger, marking the end of this fatal attraction.
