Everyone Near us started staring at us. Ritika, claire and i were completely shocked after hearing what just manik said.

'DID MANIK JUST YELL SAYING I AM HIS GIRLFRIEND?? I thought.'

"Come on, you said they are your friends? And why should i control my words. You control your so called girlfriend. And don't forget i am the senior here"she said.

The bell rang and everyone started leaving.

"It is pretty hard to believe that she is your girlfriend! I mean such a bad taste,seriously?" Taunted ritika.

"Hard to believe,huh?" Said manik with a smirk.

This smirk sometimes made me laugh, sometimes happy, sometimes even made me blush but today it scared me...it was really scaring me....a big drama was taking place. i was still standing without any motion as i was trying to understand whats happening.

Manik continued :- "Maybe this will make you believe me."

He looked at me,took my hand and pulled me closer....i was too shocked to react...he bent down on one knee and asked me, "Will you be my partner for the freshers  party ,girlfriend ?" And kissed my hand.

Ritika's face became colorless and she was shocked.

She came forward and said "ok cool.anyways ,you deserve this fatso. You look quite smart to make such a foolish decision though".

Ritika came close to me and said"THIS GUY IS MINE BITCH!"

I was completely shocked by Manik's words that i didnt hear what she said.

'I dont know why my eyes were filled with tears like why? Always me? Why does this stupid weight gives me such big problems? My friend called me his girlfriend just to protect me from some mean girl...not because he felt something for me...'

'No, i am not being ungrateful but The Typical Girl's Ego got hurt....the people who were looking at us thought that i was actually his girlfriend but....but i knew the reality....i sighed. But,who gave him the right to do this? Suddenly all my shockness turned into anger.'
