I woke up what felt years later, in the back of a car, lilys car 

'LILY?!' I tried to shout but my voice was hoarse.

'Listen Emily, im so sorry, that happened, i should never of forced you to come out im so so sorry, I should of stayed with you.' 

I touched my lips what were bleeding, and my head

'What happened?'

'Some Boy called liam was touching you up, then he smacked you down to the table. im sorry'

'No'

Thats not what happened. It wasnt Liam he wouldnt, no he was protecting me

'lily thats not what happened, y'see i met Liam and we were dancing and talking and he went to get me a drink but some man came over and did that stuff then liam came over and fought, then i blacked out' 

'Hun, thats unrealistic, we all saw that boy do that, how would you explain the cut lips and head and randomly blacking out, it doesn't add up, lets get you home'

'No'

No one was listening to me. 

'Even kara and Zoe and Mark and Alfie  saw it, he's been arrested though so we can sort all that out tomorrow' 

'No' I said again

**Liams pov**

'Officer, you've got it confused. I didnt touch that girl, it was another man, i was at the bar getting drinks for her to calm her but then she shouted me because some man was practically attacking her and i came over to help her and i admit i hit the man and Emily i dont know she panicked and blacked out hitting her head on the table and her friends came to help, but they accused me, they weren't even there!' 

'Sir that's not what the young lady said so herself, Emily told us the story and its not what your making out, there are over 6 key witnesses here.' 

How could she? Is it because she didn't want to come with me? she could of said, i wouldn't force a little princess like her to do anything. She was innocent, she wouldn't lie or do this, ha what do i know I knew her for 3 hours. She must of just been a Hoe. like everyone else. 

**Emily pov**

2 days later 

I was back at home, But i felt empty, like something was wrong, Nala was fine, work said i was fine to stay off, bills were paid, money in the bank, and all that everything was fine but it all seemed off. 

I needed to find out what really happened, Liam.. was he just a lying fuckboy? no he couldnt be, he was a gentleman he was kind and sweet, he came to protect me, but maybe i wasn't good enough and he didnt want me, maybe i was too much, I bet he didnt want me because I wasn't like the other girls. He was just a fuckboy then, who wanted nothing but intimacy .

I must of left my phone at the bar, because in this mornings post i got it back, at least it wasn't stolen it had 3percent charge so i plugged it into to see my 20 missed calls and 37 texts

I've been arrested for harassing you, please tell me this isnt true -L x

...what is going on? I never said anything to the police.. i didnt even see them.

Liam, Im sorry this has happened i dont know what happened, i didnt see the police that night or the night after, no ones contacted me, im so confused. i know you tried to protect me and you did, im so grateful, please contact me we can sort this mess out -E xx

Literally sent it at 2;43pm got a call at 2;44pm,

'Liam!'

'Babygirl' 

'Whats going on? are you okay, are you still in jail? ill come down there and tell them everything i know, thankyou for protecting me, you saved me from a whole load of trouble' 

I could hear the tiredness and sadness in his voice.

'Its fine, i have a good lawyer but im out on bail, tell me you didnt do this' he replied

'I could never, I saw everything you did, you were at the bar getting drinks i shouted you to come back i blacked out from alcohol and an anxiety attack hit my head on the table and i saw you hit the guy then that was it, thats exactly what i saw and remember, I promise.'

'Meet me at Starbucks on the highway, see you in 10'

I grabbed my keys and sprinted through the door I drove up to starbucks and waited outside, I saw his short slender body approach and i wanted to go run and hug him but, it felt wrong but i did anyway. I ran up to him 'Daddy i missed you so much is  it all okay?' He picked me by the waist and swung me round he placed me back to the ground and we went inside, the warm air filled my icy lungs from the winter air, we found a table in corner and ordered drinks

'Right, this friend of yours can you call her and ask her what she knows' he asked

I nodded and called her.

'Lily im with Liam-'

'OH MY GOD are you okay, what is he doing to you? ill call the police!' 

'Lily stop, im fine. You're on speaker by the way'

'Oh hun whats he doing? LEAVE HER ALONE YOU DICK'

'hes not doing anything, he never did.'

'He's brainwashed you'

'Shut up, and tell me what you saw' 

We both decided to hang up, she was being useless.

'Im going to go the station and tell them everything, you aren't going to get the blame for this, i promise' 

He gave me a sympathetic smile i could see he was hurt

'Im sorry'

'Its fine, we'll sort this.' he replied

We finished our drinks and talked for a while, finding out about eachother. 

He came through a drug problem, likes cars, is generous sweet funny goofy and all that, he likes the twenty one pilots car radio so we share the same favourite song. he likes films and oh yeah, he's gorgeous. like Jaw dropping, he has the nicest hair and most amazing CEO kinda voice too. 

I left starbucks about 3 hours later hyped on caffeine, we decided to go to the station together tomorrow morning and sort this out, hopefully, we were both in the clear, but i didnt mind taking a plunge. 

But however i wasnt ready for a relationship, not with whats now going on with friends, they're jealous little backstabbers with the accident and anxiety i didnt feel like i deserve love, im too difficult. We'll just stay friends, but maybe with benefits.
