The First One :

Camera Obscura

In the past, major civilizations have left their mark by contributing innovations that have shaped the world. In our world, today there is always room for improvement, especially in America which is very consistent. For example, photography a mainstream trend for 2013 has been progressing, cameras have evolved from the very first one named "camera obscura" to digital cameras we use now. The very first camera was a actually a box with a hole in it which was inspired by a Chinese philosopher, Mo-Ti. Johann Zahn, a German author expanded on the idea of the "pinhole camera" therefore inventing the camera obscura which was a success for photographic technology. By adding onto the camera obscura and changing its features over a period of time has made it more easier for anyone to take photos. However, changes can always be made to perfect such an innovation, some of the changes that can be made are the autofocus on digital cameras, the zoom can always be larger, and the interchangeable lenses can always be improved upon. So in general our world today would just not be the same if we didn't not capture the moments we encountered everyday or show off our poses on billboards. We see examples of photography everyday and it all started with the camera obscura.
