When I thought no one was looking, I tapped on his shoulder and motioned for him to follow me outside.
I was really nervous and didn't know how to start, but I knew that I had to do this. Not only for Nate, but most esepecially for myself.
"Listen, I need to tell you something. I have been wanting to tell you this for a long time now, but I never had the courage to, and the time was never right. You need to know that this is very hard for me, and that I'm really sorry. I hope you can understand." I said, tears threatening to fall.
"What are you talking about? Don't talk that way, please. You're scaring me now. If this is about the long distance thing, I told you! We'll make it work! I promised you that we'd be able to find a way. Please don't leave just because of that." Nate said, looking at me with those eyes that I fell in love with.
It hurts me to look at him, knowing the words that I would say would make him hate me forever.
"No, it not that. You don't understand. It's something else..."
