 Dinah's P.o.v

Gerard carried Zoe all the way to stronghold, now, Camila and I are currently in Zoe's room to keep her in sight while the rest left to get us food.

"Hey Chancho, I'm going out for a bit, I need some fresh air" I said standing up, it is really hot in here indeed.

"Make it fast CheeChee" she said

"gotcha" I winked and sprinted out of the room going to the nearest balcony.

Stronghold is a beautiful place after all its been through, the views here are nothing compared to L.A, it's like the air doesn't have a single particle of dirt and pollution in it.

"Looking for fresh air?" a familiar voice asked, I turned around to see the Stefan guy.

"What do u want?" I said with annoyance evident in my voice, I looked back at the view of mountains and flowers blossoming upon

"Same old, Jane" he chuckled joining me at the balcony

"It's Dinah for God's sake" I exclaimed

"Still hate it?" he smirked

"How did you even know me?" I asked quite bothered he talk to me like we were so close and knows me well

"We were friends back then, since 4 years old in the matter of fact, but you just disappeared one day, never knew what happened, you just left without saying goodbye" he said with his gaze at the mountains

"What exactly are we?" I asked quite intrigue but at the same time confused of what he meant

A few years ago......

Narrator's Pov

The wizard students gathered in one place, thrilled to know who succeeded and lead the challenges that had been given by their superiors

"Before I announce the victor, I would like to call on Mirri to bring the Golden Necklace, it has been possessed by our ancestors for many years, this is symbol about the lesson they had pass upon us till today" the head master said

Mirri marched to the front with a chest in his hands, Young Stefan took a deep breath, not because he was nervous but he craved to win that necklace among anything but Young Dinah happily watched the scene in front of her eager to know who won.

"The victor and will be the keeper of the necklace is none other than Dinah Jane Milika Ila- "

"Okay I get it, it's me" Young Dinah spoke cutting of the superior making the audience laugh.

Dinah happily squeal as she received the golden necklace from the superior as everyone applauded and praised her

Not everyone was happy about it, Young Stefan felt disappointed so he ran to the usual cliff where he usually hangs out or just simply shout whenever he doesn't feel good, but instead of shouting, he sat there in silence and stared at the sunset

"Hey" a young girl's voice called from behind

Stefan looked back and saw it was the victor from earlier

"What are you doing here?" he asked in a monotone

"My house isn't far from here and my rooms view is this cliff, I always see you here but u seem sad now so I came by to see if u were okay" the little girl smiled
