"You are attending the church meeting, right darling?" My mother asks me as she runs her hand through my hair, the reflection in my vanity shows me and my identical mother. Our h/c hair, our bone structure, our skin, our eyes. Where we live we're considered the most beautiful family, including my father. "Well, I was thinking maybe I could-" "Y/n you know the reputation we have in the church, you can't just skip the youth church meeting. Besides wouldn't that be disappointing all your friends? And your father? Don't even get me started." My eyes downcast at the thought of my father and my 'friends', neither of them being much of what they call themselves. They both use me for their image. Sighing, I stand, stopping my mothers brushing, "Okay Mother just don't tell daddy I thought about not going." Mother smiles before grabbing my shoulders and pulling me in for a kiss on the forehead. "Secrets safe with me, darling. Make sure you pray before bed, I love you so much. Goodnight." My door clicks shut and I flop very unladylike onto my large girly bed. "Dear God, please let me make it through this dumb meeting. Amen." I clap my hands and my lights go out and I fall asleep.

I watched the city fly by through the tinted windows of my Fathers limo. Dread filling me slowly when I realized where we were going, causing me to sigh and slouch in my seat slightly. "Y/n sit up, I've taught you better" My father says sternly from the seat across from me. "Yes daddy" I say and fix my posture but keep my eyes out the window. "For the church youth ball I'm thinking a white dress would do best. It's classy and sophisticated." I frown at his words, "I kinda wanted to do purple, wait no pink!" I say looking up at him and the look on his face makes me looks away again. "Those are childish colors, you will wear white, understand?" I nod, and silence fills the car, but it's broken as he coughs, giving me an expectant look. "Yes daddy" Rolling my eyes from behind my bangs, the limo finally comes to a stop.

I climb out of the car quickly and before I can even shut the door it slams and the limo races off. "Fucking dick" I mutter and someone chuckles behind me, cause to whip 360 only to see an extremely handsome, correction, sexy guy guy before me in all black, long brown hair, and piercings covering his ears. "That's not a very nice thing to say in front of a church." He says, tilting his head to the side slightly. "Yeah well, that's not a very appropriate outfit for a church meeting." I defend, my arms crossed. The dude starts laughing and I frown, "You think I'm here for this dump?" He gestures to the church, "Nah, I'm just meeting with a friend but I happened to bump into a sexy little thing like you." Blush races across my face and I look away before I can even say anything in rebuttal, Cathy, a girl from church takes my arm and pulls me away. "Stay away from her you demon! Cmon y/n, you're already late." She drags me toward the church doors and I look back at the guy. He blows me a kiss, "I'll being seeing you around, y/n!" The doors shut in my face.

"Who was he?" I ask Cathy as we walk towards the other youth members. "He's a nobody y/n, just some anti-Christ, drug head who's gonna end up in a downward spiral towards the devil." I nod, hands linked together behind my back, "Okay sooooo, does this guy have a name?" I chirp with fake enthusiasm, "So, you know I can stay a way from him." I can't help my curiosity, I've never seen someone like that before, I've only ever known the people in church and my family. "I'm serious, he's no good. Oh my goodness, could you imagine what your father would do if he seen him talking to you? The demon Jimin would be mush under your fathers Italian leather boots." My head perks up at the unfimiliar name. "So his name is Jimin?" I say this just as we approach everyone and they all gasp. "Don't dare say his name here!" I throw my hands up in defense. "Sorry sorry! I was just wondering who he was! " They all look at each other with unsure expressions. "I heard he does drugs at the abandoned movie theater with a bunch of friends, then they practice satanism." A small blonde girl says and I frown. "Alright! Enough of that we're planning the youth ball today, everyone quiet down." Mark says, he's the leader of the youth group, but no one really voted for him, hes just the pastors son. He's egotistical, douchebaggy and kinda rude, if I had anything to say about him, but with my luck he has had a crush on me since second grade when I gave him some cookies a gross kid in my class coughed on. I don't think he knows about that part though.

The meeting soon comes to an end and I nearly break out into prayer. Collecting my stuff quickly I go to leave but I'm stopped by a hand on my shoulder, I grind my teeth. PleasedontbeMarkpleasedontbeMark PLEASE. Turning around, I curse my luck only to see Mark himself, a smug smirk on his face. "So, I just happened to notice you don't have a date to the ball yet. Coincidentally I don't either." He runs his hand down my arm towards my hand and I pull my hand into my chest. "The ball is so far, and I had someone else in mind, sorry! " I pat him on the shoulder before booking it out of the church and into the cool evening air. My father told me to text him when the meeting was finished but it was such a nice evening out...I could say the meeting was longer then expected. I nod, making my decision before I walk away from the church and my house. As I'm walking down the street I see a group of boys who remind me of Jimin and my curiosity gets the best of me as I follow them down the street. "Do you think Jimin and Hobi have smoke? I don't have any on me." The youngest looking one of the group says as the approach the abandoned movie theater the blonde girl from earlier was talking about. Fear fills me at the thought of the rumors being true but curiosity gets the best of me as I wait for them to go inside. The tallest of the group with deep dimples pulls up a piece of wood and letting everyone else in before going in himself. Taking a deep breath I count to 10 before walking up to the same piece of wood and going in. Once I'm inside I see that the inside is not as bad as the outside, but there's dirt on my white skirt and the air smells of mold. Laughter draws my attention a certain direction and I follow it to the main theatre where the group of boys are sitting a cricle and passing around what looks like a cigarette, with Jimin in the middle. Suddenly a rat running across my feet scares me and I squeal before backing up into a pile of wood for it to fall down with a loud bang. I freeze in my spot and pray for them to be too busy to care but my luck has ran dry as the first person to come to the crime seen was the guy I was so curious about enough to come into a place like this and risking my father knowing. Jimin.

I guess you could say curiosity did kill the cat.
