turned them into nightmares.
you followed me everywhere,
though i heard no footsteps.
you made me feel cold,
afraid and small.
you chased me down dark alleys
until i have nowhere to run.

i never wanted to believe
until i see with my own eyes.
but you left clues everywhere
for me to find.
