Jordan

I hissed in pain as someone bumped into my shoulder, the accident with my horse still fresh on my skin. I had taken Brownie for a quick stroll this morning. Something must have spooked her, she bucked, and I fell and now my shoulder hates me and my legs are all bruised.

Walking down the hallway I looked around absentmindedly until my eyes locked in on something, or dare I say, someone. There he is. The boy who infuriates me. I can't even stand to look at him half of the time. And sadly he's my brother's best friend, Asher Browne. Girls want to be with him, guys want to be him. With his long tan sculpted arms, big smooth hands, and his messy chestnut hair to go with his dark brown sparkling eyes. Everything about him screams player, and a big ego, bigger than the Eiffel Tower. And sadly I dream about him every day.

Reality consumed me as I collided with a rough body. My eyes shut awaiting the impact of the floor, but it never occurred. I was caught by two muscular arms. Opening one eye slightly and then the other suddenly the school's bad boy's face appeared above me, Casper Kingsley.

"S-sorry I w-wasn't p-paying attention." I stuttered, quickly I moved around him trying to pick up my books.

Gathering them swiftly as I could. I was ready to bolt, but at the same time my clumsiness came out, causing me to trip over my own two feet making my glasses fall. Casper bent down and picked them up for me. We both looked up from the ground and at each other at the same time.

"You're going to need these if you want to get through the day," Casper said giving me my glasses. A huge smirk plastered on his face. I've seen that evil smirk before.

"Thanks," I said quietly.

Everybody had to stop and stare at us. And to make matter's worse I felt my checks get all flustered.Casper's black orbs showed a hint of joy. But just as quickly as it appeared is disappeared, and was replaced with the glare of evil.

"Aww, how sweet the jock's sister actually thought I was being nice." Casper chuckled. Oh no here it comes, here it comes, here it comes. "It's time your glasses get fixed, four eyes, cause clearly they don't work, or else you would have seen me standing right in front of you!"

I looked up to see Asher's eyes full of pity and empathy. You jerk, why don't you do something.

"Bitch," Casper mumbled. He pushed passed me, hitting my shoulder abruptly.

I groaned in pain as everybody went back to their normal routine. All of a sudden the bell rang singling the start of the fourth period. "Crap I still have to go to my locker," I mumbled running down the hall to my locker.

Phoebe

Shaking furiously, I stared at the large class before me, gripping my purse straps tightly. The teacher turns around smiling. "Hello, class!" He smiled. Then he looked at me, "I'm Mr. Wheeler, and I'm your U.S. History teacher, as you may already know."

"We have a new student, I want you to give a warm welcome to Phoebe ." His eyes glistened, darkening when he looked at me. He was an attractive man, with dark hair, and stubble. Looking to be in his late twenties early thirties. Some girls giggled and waved at him. They're just being plain old stupid.

"Please take a seat in the back sweetheart. Next to Mr. Parker." He grinned at me and it was no sweet grin, it was the grin of a pedophile.

Some girls glared as I walked by them slowly to the desk. My high heels clicking against the polished tile floors. I took a seat next to Mr. Parker, he's a boy with dirty blonde hair and bright green eyes. Hmm, he's kind cute, I guess?

He stuck a hand out to me. Grinning widely "Hey, I'm Landon."

I smiled shyly, taking his hand and shaking it. "Phoebe" I answered.

Our conversation halted to a stop as the door creaked open and a girl strikingly similar to Landon stepped into the classroom.

"Ah, Miss Parker. Care to explain where you were?" He sneered.

"I-I was getting my stuff from my locker, i-it wouldn't open." She answered quietly.

"Probably crying like a little bitch." Someone mumbled from across the room. Mr. Wheeler snickered and I scoffed, Dick.

Landon's fist clenched and unclenched as an angry look swept into his face. "Are you alright?" I whispered.

"That's my baby sister. And of course that Dick," Landon motioned his head towards Mr. Wheeler, "doesn't even care." he spat. "Sick bastard." He mumbled.

I looked at him sadly. Why wouldn't Mr. Wheeler say anything? She's being bullied and nobody does anything?

"Take a seat, Miss Parker." Mr. Wheeler directed her towards the empty seat that's behind Landon. She scrambled to the desk.

"Slut!" Someone mumbled as they threw a piece of paper at her. She ducked and yelped, people were laughing loudly and Landon looked ready to murder.

I glared, staying silent, too afraid to do anything. What type of teacher would let this continue?

Landon made a move to stand up but Jordan held him back. "Don't fight my battles!" She hissed.

"Aw look! Tough BIG BROTHER has to protect the wittle baby." A boy yelled laughing.

"Piss off!" Landon yelled launching himself forward.

Jordan grabbed his elbow trying to stop hi, but it didn't work. Landon just pulled his arm away from her. That's when Landon threw a punch. Mr. Wheeler had to stand in-between the two of them to break them up. "Landon! That is unacceptable behavior! Detention!" Mr. Wheeler yelled.

"Gladly!" He screamed back turning around picking up his things and then doing a 180 and storming out of the room.

"Thanks for the help, I'm Jordan." The girl said to me.

I smiled "Phoebe." I told her.

"My Brother's a bit of a hothead."

"Yeah well everyone else is a Bit of a douche, so I think it's acceptable." I countered.

She chuckled, "Yeah they kinda are. Wanna hang out at lunch?" She asked. I agreed.

After a little while, the bell exploded, Signaling the end of class. She grabbed her things leading me to the cafeteria. She walked towards a table with other kids at it.

"Phoebe meet, Ariana, Violet, Ryder, and last but not least my brother's best friend Asher." They all smiled and greeted me. I smiled back and sat quietly eating my lunch as everyone visited. The day passed and we all bid each other goodbye.

Little did I know that was the day I met the people who would grow to be my everything.
