The Arrival

It was mid summer. The year was late 1632 and the call of beautiful horses could be heard in the distance. "Is everything ready for their arrival?" The blonde Mikaelson sister asked as she whisked her way around the mansion that her family owned. She wanted to make sure that everything was right for the arrival. Rebekah had resulted to cleaning the entire estate before Elijah had told her to calm down.

"These girls will like the estate nonetheless dear sister. You haven't fed in days. I suggest you do so before their scent overwhelms you." Her half brother Niklaus informed her from where he sat at the dining room table, a servant pouring blood from her vein into his wine cup. Once Rebekah finally calmed down, she went to join him. Kol was writing something in the study, and Elijah was reading in the library.

One by one, each Mikaelson sibling heard the pounding of horses on the pavement that was in front of the mansion. They all sped to the door, literally, walking outside with a human pace, each of them lining up outside to see the girls who had arrived. Rebekah was most excited. She was the only woman in the house other than the servants and she needed female friends. Trust me, Rebekah loved her brothers. But she needed other people to trust besides her own siblings.

The first to get out was Elijah's girl, formally known as Lady Juliet Marie of France. She was a dark haired beauty, tall, poised, and a natural born leader. A perfect match for the eldest Original. It was like we were chosen for them to love. Which they had weird ways of showing at many times.

Before I decided to do this, I was wondering if I should tell you my life story in the first place. Why I did what I did. But in the end, I ask myself one question: Why did anyone do what they did? Were we all just in some sick twisted game? Where did the games end in this town? How many lives had to be taken for people to stop? The answer is still unknown though. Because it keeps happening. More people are dying.

Katia Rose was the second to arrive. Everything just seemed better with her here. She was my best friend, almost like a sister. So were all the girls. But they had their secrets. Of course, everyone had their secrets didn't they? Well what they didn't know was that secrets kill. Maybe they did know that. Hell, I knew they loved me. They loved all five of us. But I am getting ahead of myself. Where was I? Oh right. Katia Rose.

Her fiery red hair struck out in its wavy attempts to be straight. Her piercing blue eyes met each of the Mikaelsons, making a new friend within one glance. Of course I was the last. I was always taught that you were never late and everybody was just early. Little did I know this would take a big part in my life.

My carriage arrived in front of the Mikaelson Manor, my curious self turning to glare at it with admiration. If those walls could talk, they would scream, cry, laugh, anything. As my horses came to a halt, my attention turned to the door being opened. I stepped out, holding my dress in my hands so I wouldn't trip. My dark hair shined in the Sun, making the brown locks I had stand out. Then we heard someone clear their throat.

"Welcome to our home. My siblings and I all hope that you find your stay very pleasant. Please come in." The eldest brother beckoned to us. All of us had met. The girls, I mean. We had been acquaintances, and our families had sent us here for our own protection. My father specifically, sent me here to make me forget all that has happened. My life was a traumatic one, but I somehow managed to stay strong. That is, until I looked him in the eye.

His eyes pierced through mine. They were a deep brown color, almost the same color as his dark hair. Then I knew. Something felt different. I had to look at something else. So I turned to see Juliet's gaze on mine. I smiled softly at her. She was a wonderful friend to have, but of course she knew what happened when I looked at him. She always knew.

"And while my brothers retrieve all of your belongings, I will show you around." Rebekah said, leading all of us into the manor. I heard the blonde man, Niklaus grunt as he heard her instructions but followed them anyway. Elijah gave us all warm smiles, his eyes lighting up when Juliet passed him. Kol gave a small devious grin to us, but his expression raised into a sly smirk when I passed him. I turned my head and kept walking behind the blonde woman, pushing one of my dark ringlets from my face.

"This is the study. You are all welcome to come here anytime you wish. I know I come here a lot." Rebekah said. I saw Juliet's eyes light up as she looked at all of the books. As Rebekah went on about the room, I had heard footsteps walk in, creaking up the steps and back down again. Rebekah's brothers were bringing the luggage through the house.

"Let me-" Rebekah said, but was cut off by someone clearing their throat behind her. "Let us have the pleasure show you all to your rooms." Niklaus said with a grin. Rebekekah rolled her eyes at her blonde haired brother. Elijah took Juliet's hand, smiling at her as he lead her to her room. Niklaus took Katia to her room. That left Kol and I. "Shall we? He asked, holding out his hand. I took his hand, which was my first mistake.
