It was morning time in New York city, around 6:00-6:30. Juliet Marie was asleep in her room while Adelaide was writing in her room. The girls had kept in touch throughout the centuries of them being alive. The last time any of them had talked to Andrea (now renamed Hayley) she was somewhere in Scotland. That was about a century ago, though. Katia had spent her time in England, and made sure to write letters to her friends. Juliet had tried to go back to France, but it brought back many memories, and Adelaide couldn't bring herself to face Italy again. Juliet and Adelaide had met in Greece, and decided to go to America together. The year was now 2013, and the girls haven't made contact with the Mikaelson family ever since the incident.

The door to Adelaide's room opened, and in came a sleepy looking Juliet Marie. "Morning." Juliet said. She had kept her hair long like she always did, except she looked more modern than she did all those years ago when they first had met. She wore a white tank top, grey sweatpants, no shoes, and her bluish grey robe. Her hair was in a messy ponytail and she looked severly tired. Adelaide looked up at her with a smile. She still had her pajamas on as well, which were just black and white shorts and an oversized moonshine shirt.

"How did you sleep, Jules?" Adelaide asked, not taking her eyes from the paper. Juliet gave a tired smile, pulling the sleeves down on her robe with a sigh. "Rebekah called me." Juliet told Adelaide, making the brunette drop the black stick pen she was writing with.

"What?" She questioned in disbelief. Then, a bunch of questions started pouring from Adelaide's lips. "How did she get your number? What did she want? Did she said anything about Elijah or Kol? Does she know we live in New York?" The questions just kept going and going until Juliet held her hand out to silence the shorter girl.

"I don't know how she got my number. I don't know what she wanted. I was still asleep when she called. She didn't say anything about Elijah or Kol. And she doesn't know we live in New York." Juliet said, rubbing her eyes before yawning. "I need some coffee." She mumbled, leaving the doorway of Adelaide's room.

Adelaide sighed, running a hand through her long brown hair. She picked her pen back up and continued to write.

The night when we first dined with the Mikaelsons was awkward to say the least. Katia was telling Niklaus about how beautiful Scotland was. He seemed interested, smirking at her. At the time, it seemed like they would fall in love, but he viewed her as a sister. Juliet Marie was informing Elijah about France, literally talking to him in French. He responded with French every time, making her give him an impressed smile. I was left talking to Kol, him and I barely trading glances. Rebekah had been giving me glances from across the table, smiling as she drank from her cup.

"So Adelaide, tell us more about Italy." Kol spoke, turning everyone's attention to me. It's like he is trying to make me flustered. "I'd rather not." I said, turning my head to my lap, embarrassed. I didn't like talking about Italy. It was beautiful, but not the memories it held for me.

"Something wrong, Adelaide?" Kol said with a smirk, drinking from his cup. "That's enough, Kol." Niklaus stated, giving him a warning glare. Kol simply turned back to me, still going at it. "I heard the people there are friendly. Do tell." I couldn't take any of this. I stood up from the chair, quickly going back to my room.

Katia was the second one to leave. "I'll go check on her." And she did. She was such a kindhearted girl. Once Katia was fully up the steps, Juliet rose from her seat and gave a small sigh. "It's been a pleasure dining with you all." She said before leaving the table. She told me that whenever you leave a place, You thank the person for having you. Unless it's under certain terms, like a coven of witches tries to murder you.

It was now later in the day, around 3pm in New York City.  Juliet had been braiding Adelaide hair when her phone rang on her bed. "Who calls anymore?" She mumbled as she picked it up. Adelaide peered over her friend's shoulder to see who was calling. It was an unknown number. Juliet cocked her head to the side, pressing the green 'answer' button.

"Hello?" She asked into the phone. A feminine voice answered. The voice belonged to none other than Rebekah Mikaelson. "Christ Juliet, I thought something was wrong." Rebekah said to her. Juliet froze, her heartbeat speeding up as she heard Rebekah talk. It had been years since they had talked. "Hi, Rebekah. It's been a while." Juliet mumbled the last part, awaiting Rebekah' s response.

"A very long time. I'm not exactly calling for nothing." Rebekah said, making Juliet roll her eyes. "Of course. The only time the Mikaelsons talk to people after a while is when they need favors." Juliet said with an unimpressed tone. Rebekah didn't seem to care since she continued to talk.

"We need you to come back to New Orleans. Some things have happened and we need assistance." Rebekah stated, clear worry and a hint of annoyance in her voice. "What does those things to do with me, Rebekah?" Adelaide had been listening in the entire time. She really didn't want to leave New York. It was hard at times, but it had been her home for years now. Whatever the Mikaelsons needed, they could handle on their own.

"We need you here. And Elijah wants to talk to you." Rebekah said before shuffling over the line occurred.  "Juliet?" Elijah's voice asked into the speaker. Juliet's breathing hitched, and Adelaide put a hand on her shoulder for support. Juliet hadn't talked to Elijah Mikaelson in a century or so. "Hello, Elijah." She said with a shaky breath. Hearing the way she talked to him, Elijah instantly got worried. He felt so guilty for what he put her through and he still loved her dearly. "Juliet? Where are you? Let us come and get you and Adelaide." He told his ex lover all too quickly. Now things were getting weird.

"How does he know that I'm with you?" Adelaide mouthed before Juliet shrugged. "Elijah, I'm not a child. I know how to book a flight." She said with a bored ex
pression on her face. "Right, well we ne-" He began before being cut off by her. "I know. You need us to help you with whatever you need because even though the Mikaelsons are the most powerful beings, they always need help from people who they have already burdened enough. Got it. I'll see you in a few days, Elijah." She said before ending the call.

"Pack your bags." Juliet told her companion, running her slender finger over the braid she put in Adelaide's hair. "You're kidding me, right?" Adelaide exclaimed in disbelief. Juliet shook her head, running her hand through her long, dark hair. "I wish I was. I'll book the soonest flight to New Orleans." Juliet told her, leaving the room. Adelaide huffed, going to her closet. She pulled her sunset colored suitcases from the back of the closet, dragging it onto her bed as she began packing. "Bloody hell." Adelaide mumbled. She was not ready for this.
