OLIVER
After three hours, I decided to wake Ava, fearing she’ll get a headache from oversleeping.
“Ava,”
Groaning and obviously not wanting to get up, she turns to me with a frown on her face.
“Why are you waking me up from my nap?”
I stood up from the bed and started to walk to the bathroom,
“Naps don’t usually take three long hours, Ava.”
From the bathroom mirror, I saw her stand up as if electrocuted with eyes that were about to pop out.
“Three hours?!”
“Yup, sleeping beauty.” I said while wiping my face with a towel.
She groaned and fell back on to the bed.
“Does this mean we have to go out for lunch?”
I shrugged, “We don’t have to if you don’t feel like it.”
“Let’s just have lunch at the beach restaurant.”
I stepped out of the bathroom and helped her up from the bed.
“Alright then. Let’s go.”

“I’ll have the grilled Norwegian salmon sandwich, ciabatta bread please. And a glass of pina colada.”
Ava ordered without even blinking.
“And I will have the spicy lobster. Just water please.”
I grinned at the waitress who blushed violently as she jotted down our orders.
After repeating our orders, she left and brought us our drinks.
“Are you ready for tonight?” I asked, leaning in closer to her.
She drew out a sigh and slumped in her chair,
“I don’t know, really. I don’t want pig’s blood to rain on me.”
“Meredith won’t have the guts to go that far.”
She rolled her eyes at me. She clearly knows something I don’t.
“You don’t know her like I do, Oliver. I went to high school with her.”
