Dreams are Different than Reality

  Olivers periwinkle locker creaked slightly as his gaze shifted over to where he heard laughs rising. There she was. 5'6, dark brown hair and hazel eyes.
  Emma Vallenice wasn't the most popular girl in school. But she was the toughest.
  She wasn't a bully, and from what Oliver knew, she was sweet. Her and her friends were  famous at the school for standing up for herself. And Oliver, being someone that was bullied constantly,  admired her for that.
  As the bell rang throughout the hallways, Olivers heterochromic (One blue,one green) eyes darted back to his locker, grabbing the books he needed. He adjusted the midnight blue backpack strap across his shoulder. He shut the door with another quiet creak and then let his slightly wavy jet black hair fall over his eyes as he looked down.
  He began walking to class, staring down at his black, worn out Vans. When he was almost there, he bumped into someone. "S-Sorry!" He exclaimed with worry, looking down at the two girls he had bumped into. No... did he just...? Oh god."Whatever. Just watch where your walking." Emma huffed. Olivers face began to heat up, his face turning pink. The other girl stood up, her bouncy, loose, strawberry blonde, curls laying back on her shoulders. "Don't mind her. She's just having a bad day. You're okay, right?" She asked, smiling. Oliver nodded, his face starting to slowly cool. "I'm sorry again..." He said softly, starting to hurry off.
"What a great start to a great day." He mumbled.
