"Why is Thomas so soft towards Alex?!" I muttered to myself, making my way through the streets home. "I thought he got over him, why can't he just forget about him?" I was so angry at Tommy, the best thing that ever happened to me... I couldn't be mad at him forever, I loved him and the fun we have debating people from other political parties.
I will never forget the night we were at the party where we first met each other. George was hosting a party so he looked like he had friends, and invited us and a lot of other people over. Tommy had gotten in a fight with Alex, and was storming down the hall crying and carrying a cup of banana juice. I happened to be coming down the stairs, and not looking where I was going, bumped into Tommy. His banana juice got all over my expensive tuxedo, but that didn't matter. We locked eyes and fell in love. Tommy broke up with Alex that same night and went back to my place. It was the best night of my life...
As I was remembering this, I heard a familiar deep but soothing voice. "Jamie! JAMIE!" It was Tommy, flailing his arms to get my attention. As if I couldn't notice his tall and muscular body out of the passing people.
Tommy started running at me, so I put back on my stern face to convince him I was still mad. But he didn't seem to notice, and leaped on me, embracing me.
"Found you." Tommy smirked. "It seems you have." I replied, averting eye contact. "Come on James, it was just a little debate, you can't be so angry over that, can you?" Tommy asked with big eyes.
"It's not the debate... It's... It's Alex..." I had to say it, I couldn't lie.
"What about him?" Tommy asked, acting like he didn't know.
"We know, Tommy, you once shoved your Bill of Rights up his Bank of New York. You guys aren't complete strangers and were once in a relationship. You're starting to have me think you still have feelings for him... Is that true?" I was fighting back tears in my eyes now.
"Of course not James! I love you and only you, nobody could ever make a better partner than you." Tommy said with the sweetest look in his eyes. "Do you really mean that Tommy?" "Of course I do." Tommy replied, hugging me tighter.
"Ewww." We heard a familiar voice gasp during our embrace. It was none other than Lafayette, the imp that was somehow even more annoying than Alex. He thought sense George Washington is his 'big daddy' that he could say whatever the hell he wants to anybody. He's not a bad guy, but he seems to find any excuse to make a snide remark because he's backed up by Big George.
"Hi Lafayette..." We both reluctantly said. "Bonjour", he replied, "may I assist you in your walk home?"
"Well, actually Tommy and I were just-"

"Sure!" Tommy cheerfully exclaimed. He can be such an idiot sometimes...

Damn, cockblocked again, things were just getting interesting...
"Great!" Lafayette piped, looking at me for a second and seeing how obviously pissed off I was. Oh well, Tommy and I will be alone once we get back to my place.
