"You, just said I had a choice, I don't want to live with anyone, you can go back to the police station, where you belong, so just go away" I replied. "Brooke I understand, I lost my parents when I was your age, in a car accident, but please don't be angry with us, we care about you and we are here to look after you" said Andrea "how can you care about me, I only met you about 15 minutes ago" I muttered. I saw Sophia give Andrea a weird look then she said " I think you should tell her Andrea, she has a right to know" Andrea sighed "yes, I guess she does, all right,I'll tell her, me and your parents went to school together, I was best friends with your mum and dad, and I was being bullied by a girl called Lyndsey carpenter, she was evil and she was in the grade above us, also Harry was at the school as well, he was a year younger then us, and none of us liked him, he was weird, and he seemed a bit insane, anyway, so it was mid summer and Lindsey had followed me to the park, I was waiting there for your mum and dad, but Harry showed up before them, Lindsey was pushing me and calling me horrible names, so Harry ran forward and stabbed her with a sharp knife, she was dead by the time I could call an ambulance, I called the police, and I gave a statement, they arrested Harry but he played the I'm so innocent act, and as there was apparently no proof, they didn't arrest him, I told them that I saw him kill her, but when they did a post Mortem on Lindsey's body, they found that the DNA didn't match Harry's, I was then put in a insane home, for about 4 years before they realised I was sane, and they didn't apologise, I went go find Harry to try and persuade him to go to the police station, but when I went to his home, I found that he was gone, along with his whole family, he was arrested about 7 years ago, and he murdered his own family, I tried to tell the court about him killing Lindsey and they finally believed me, so I wanted to ensure that all the murderers get put away from their crimes, so no more innocent lives were lost" Andrea started crying, she tried to carry on speaking but she was to hysterical I was in shock, for ages so I couldn't speak, there was an awkward silence for a bit, until Sophia's phone went of, Sophia went out of the car to take the call, but she came in looking pale, "that was the head of the safety place and he said that Harry had been looking in all the rooms, discussed as an old women, and he went round asking if anyone had seen you, he fooled 3 people, before somebody realised who he was, but it was to late he had killed 2 people, and fled before the police had caught him, nowhere is safe, Brooke, he's looking for you, and I don't know why he wants you, but I swear that I will keep you safe" said Sophia, Andrea called Sophia over, they weren't that far away, so I could make out what they were saying, "don't get to attached to the kid, if she gets hurt you will be heartbroken" said Andrea "no, she won't get hurt I won't let her. And as soon as Harry is locked up, I am going to adopt her" replied Sophia, and with that she turned round and walked towards me, she put an arm around me, and led me into the police car,Andrea came and sat in the car along with Sophia, Andrea was driving, Sophia reached into her big handbag and pulled out a flask of lukewarm tea "here, darling, have some tea, it will make you feel better" she said, and she handed the flask to me, as I drank the lukewarm tea, I had a flash back, to when I was little and my mum and dad took me to the park, I remember I fell of the swing, and started to cry, but mom and dad picked me up and cuddled me till I stopped crying, my mom smelt of rose perfume, I remember how safe I felt,how happy I was even though I was hurt, but memories like that would never happen again, because now they are gone. Suddenly the lukewarm tea scoulded my throat, and I chocked and spluttered, tears came streaming out from my eyes, and I took a deep breath to try and calm myself down, I looked out of the window to distract myself, and also because I was curious to know where we were heading, it was getting dark outside, and we were in the middle of nowhere "oh no, please no" said Andrea "what, what's happened" I asked "I, er forgot to put petrol in the car" she replied, Sophia turned round and looked at me, she then looked at Andrea "how can you do that, you've put our life at risk Andrea, how could you be so stupid" yelled Sophia "it's ok, I've got a petrol can in the back"'said Andrea, and she went out the car and filled the tank up, she lept back in the car, she seemed terrified, I looked through the back windscreen and saw a shady figure approach the car, in the distance I couldn't be sure, but I thought that the figure was carrying a knife, gleaming in the moonlight "drive, drive, quick he's catching up" I screamed, Andrea seemed to hear me as she slammed on the breaks, we drove about 100 miles an hour, I dreaded to think what would happen if we crashed, or if Harry caught up with us, suddenly Andrea put the car in to reverse, the car shoot backwards into uncle Harry, he flew into the floor screaming, at first he moved slightly, but then he was still, we drove a little bit away, and called An ambulance and the police, "I'm sorry, but he was killed in impact, I would arrest you Andrea, but he was such a wanted criminal that I don't see why he should ruin your life, when he has ruined so many other peoples.

Sophia and Andrea hugged me tightly "It's ok, Brooke, your safe now" and this time I actually believed her, because I knew I really was safe, well for now.
