Millie's POV

I decided we should go out for ice cream. It was winter, so usually ice cream isn't the best idea, but theres never a bad time for ice cream. Plus I needed some type of fuel if I was going to be matchmaker. This would be a tough job, Finns not easy when it comes to emotions. I'd known Finn for a while, he was one of my closest friends, and I could tell when he was feeling a certain way. And he definitely had something going on with this girl. Who could blame him, she was really pretty. I had to make sure she was good enough for him though. Caleb said he could drive us, which would go along perfectly for my plan. A brilliant one if I do say so myself. Although the fandom ships Fillie, I have a small crush on Noah. He's my best friend and he's always there for me. We're just so close and he just has so many great qualities, who couldn't have a tiny crush on him. I smiled at the thought. We'd all be going on double dates soon enough. Caleb slid into the drivers seat and Gaten sat in the passengers. There were only three seats in the back.

Caleb frowned "Sorry guys, I didn't really realize that there wasn't enough room for all of us."

Y/n smiled. "It's fine, why don't we just walk?"

Noah shook his head. "That's not a good idea. People will be all over us, not to sound conceited or anything but it's not difficult to recognize us, especially when we're all together."

"Well, not me. They have no idea who I am." She suggested

Finn stared at y/n with admiration. "Yea I'll catch up with you guys later. We can go together."

Sadie and Noah got in the back and I smirked. Finn turned back and I winked at him and looked to y/n. He glanced at her and blushed. I got in and closed the door. This plan is already  going better than I intended.

Your POV

"Y'know you really don't have to come Finn." You said to him.

"No no I do. There wasn't room for me anyways." You smiled up at him. He was considerably taller than you. "Plus, who will protect you." You stopped and raised and eyebrow.

"Protect? And how would you protect me?" You asked incredulously. You stared at his skinny form and found the thought of him fighting anything off kind of funny.

"With these bad boys." He said and lifted up his arm, and attempting to flex. You laughed and pushed him lightly.

"Very intimidating." You said sarcastically, smiling to yourself. He pretended to be offended as you continued walking.

"You think this is a joke? I'm strong. I uh..." he looked around for something to pick up, to show off his strength. His eyes landed on you. You took a step back.

"Oh my gosh, Finn don't you dare." You shouted playfully. He picked you up, bridal style and spun you. His hands wrapped around your legs and shoulder. You avoided his gaze, flustered from the contact.

"Easy peasy." He said proudly. The sound of a picture being taken rang in your ears not a moment later. He dropped you and turned. "Crap." You looked around.

"What?" He grabbed your hand and pulled you into the ice cream shop.

"I think someone's spying on us." His hand remained in yours. You looked into his eyes and his expression was still slightly concerned. You interlocked fingers with him, so he wouldn't let go.

"Don't people spy on you all the time? I mean, it is a bit weird, but aren't you used to it by now?" He tilted his head to the side.

"Well it's not really about me. More you and me. I mean people are eager to ship me with anyone. Millie and I would hang out on the weekends and people started to assume that we were dating." Your smile fell a little bit at the thought. It's not like it mattered, this was Finn Wolfhard. Finn Wolfhard. Like hell he'd want to date you. He must have noticed because he quickly recovered. "Not that we are. Millie's my friend, but honestly I think she has a thing with Noah. We're not, it's just, I was kinda..." he trailed off, looking for the correct words. "I was like holding you and ..." he brought up your hands that were tightly clasped together. You pulled your hand away from his.

"I'm sorry Finn. I didn't mean to-"

"No! It's fine." He rubbed the back of his neck. " I don't mind." He said shyly. Your breath hitched and you ran your hands through your hair.

"Yeah, yeah. Me neither." You laughed and looked down. The soft chime of the door sounded. Gaten burst in and hugged both of you.

"Hey dudes!" He said excitedly. "Finlard, Mrs. Wolfhard." He nodded to both of you. Finn punched his shoulder playfully.

"Oh shut up." He blushed a bit and you did too. Damn how many times could you blush in a day, y/n. Caleb and Noah were right behind him. Sadie and Millie entered a minute later.

---

It was raining hard now. The weather constantly changed from windy to rainy. You groaned. You most definitely didn't feel like walking around in this weather. Surprisingly, no one offered any other transportation, so you were stuck. Millie's eyes lit up. "We should have a sleepover!"

"Us too?" Noah asked. Millie pretended to think.

"Sure." She said finally. I pulled my phone out.

"Hold on guys. I need to ask my mom." You began to text her.

"Hey could I put my number in your phone, I know you already have it but-" you nodded and handed him your phone. He took it and placed his number. He labeled his contact as 'Finnie' you took the phone from his hands. "Hey!" He said at your sudden action. You held up the phone and said.

"Smile for your profile picture!" He made a kissy face, almost like he was pouting. "That is not a smile." You told him.

"Okay well, we are gonna leave before you two start sucking faces. See you at the set." Caleb said and the rest of the cast followed. "True that." Sadie said before leaving.

"Yeah, we should get going." Finn said, ignoring Caleb's comment. You nodded and stood up. You guys chatted for a bit until it started raining again. "N/n your shivering." Finn stopped you. You placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Finn I'm fine. It was dumb of me not to bring a jacket." He rolled his eyes.

"You didn't bring a jacket! Here, have mine." He said taking off his green jacket.

"No seriously I'm fine." He handed his jacket to you. He wasn't taking no for an answer. "Thanks Finnie." You said as he placed his jacket on your shoulders. It was a bit big, but not a terrible fit. You did love his signature green jacket. He chuckled.

"It's a little big, but you look good." He said with a nod of approval. You blushed and looked down. You two had become more and more comfortable with each other in the past two days. As you walked to the set, you pushed each other into puddles and such. Which kinda defeated the purpose of his jacket, but you didn't want to take it off. Once there weren't any more puddles or rain, just wind, you calmed down.

"But you got me wet last. That's not fair!" Finn complained. You shrugged. He shook out his hair, like a dog, getting you really wet.

"Ah! Finn!" He stopped and smiled triumphantly.

"I guess I win." He said. You ruffled his hair.

"You're such a dork." You said as you went into the building.
