*Girl above is Sky*
Sky's POV
I laid in my bed, staring out my window at the starry night sky. Mom, dad, I wish you were here. I cut myself today. And Alex has gone away for work. Please, save me from Serena. Tears roll silently down my cheeks as I sink into a dreamless sleep.
Serena screams at me to get my "ugly ungrateful arse" out of bed. I pray silently and drag myself out of bed. I wander into the kitchen to the smell of toast. "Hurry up and get out. You'll, miss the bus and be late." Serena hisses, spitting crumbs. "But, what about my lunch?" I whimper and her cold eyes pierce through mine. I dip my head and pick up my school bag to leave. "Ungrateful little sausage." I hear Serena growl as I exit the house. Trudging up the hill is tiring. But all the same, I reach the bus stop. The guy with hazelnut hair who talked to me yesterday after I cut my hand, was sitting on the seat. I stood next to the time table post, wanting to avoid him. "You can sit down you know. I don't bite." He said with a slight chuckle. I noticed he'd slid futher across the seat. Giving in, I sat the other side of him. "So, how's your hand?" I held my hand up to show him my Nemo bandaid. He laughs a little. Warm and sweet like Alex's, I note mentally. "I didn't know cute girls like you were into Nemo." He comments and I blush slightly. He thinks I'm cute? The bus pulls up and Isjt next to the hazelnut haired boy all the way to school.
Cole and I got along well. He was in mostof my classes. Except for the one I needed him most in. Hpe. A bunch of popular boys and girls were in my class. I was dressing in the shower rooms when a group of girls busted down the doorof my cubicle. "Ew. She's fat and bruised." They snigger as I rush to pull on my top. "Oh shut up Amy. Like you can talk." I hear a commanding voice say. Amy? Cole's friend? I recall our conversation about her and how their friendship went south. "Uh...well whatever Ariana. You look like you were gangbanged by crayola." The girls turn on the red headed girl who entered the room moments ago. "Oh yeah? At least I can do a straight fucking wing! What the fuck is going on with yours? Did you sneeze while doing your make-up and try to recover?" I notice the slight breaks in her voice. She's holding back tears, I realise from experience. Amy is silent. I snicker quietly to myself as I sneak out of the room.

"She seriously said that to you?" Cole says, anger and disbelief mixed on his face. All I can do is nod. Cole sits back in his seat and lets out a laugh. "Wow. She's more of a bitch than I remember." It was my turn to laugh. "Here comes our stop." He says, standing. I follow him off the bus, tapping my go card. "So, were do you live?" He asks and I point down the hill. "Ah damn. Well, meet me here tomorrow morning?" I chuckle amd smile warmly. "Well duh. How else would i get to school?" We both laugh and walk off in our seperate ways. My heart flutters as I'm reminded that now, even when the world is so cruel, I have a friend.
