You and Harry have been the best of friends for a long time since you were 5 and you both always had sleepovers on the weekends.
So right now you are both in junior year and has decided to have a sleep over. He was coming over to your house.
The thing is, is that you both have liked each other for a every long time and you didn't know that tonight was going to be completely different.
As you were getting the snacks ready you heard someone knocking on the door but you know immediately who it was and your heart started racing.
But Harry was more nervous than you because he's the one who's going to do something he's been holding in for a long time
"(Y/N)!" Harry yells and hugs you tightly when you open the door.
You laugh into his chest as you two are still hugging.
Both of you finally let go of each other and he makes his way to your room and you follow behind him.
He plops down on your bed, being careful about the snacks you had on your bed for the both of you and you grab the remote to the tv and turn off your light.
So the only light source is from the tv and you lay next to him, both of you having your backs to your headboard and the snacks between you.
About half way through the movie you reach into the bag of chips the same time Harry does and you both feel this tingly feeling from each other's touch.
Your heart is racing even more and so is his. You look up to him and smile and throw a chip at him and he chuckles.
You turn your attention back to the movie but you can feel Harry's gaze on you but you ignore it.
You feel him scooting closer to you, usually you wouldn't be bothered by it but this time it was different. You saw him differently.
He moved his face inches from your cheek and you can feel his breath on your neck that coming from is mouth.
"(y/n)" he whispers.
You turn your head slowly to face him still keeping your eyes on the screen but once you met his gaze, it didn't take a second for him you grab you behind your neck and kiss you firmly, but gently.
You both pull apart and your breathing hitched and you can hear his too.
He rests his forehead against yours and you can see the little smile on his face and you slowly start smiling.
He pulls away his forehead and looks at you and you can see his beautiful green eyes sparkling from the tv light and the smile on his face showed some kind of relief like he's wanted to do that for a long time, which is.
He runs your cheek with his thumb and whispers "I love you"
You smile at him and say "I love you too, for the longest time"
He smiles back and pecks your mouth and pulls you towards him so you're both cuddling watching the movie.
He kisses your head and says "So (y/n), will you be my girlfriend?" He smirks playfully when he said girlfriend.
You look up to him and say "I would love you" and you peck his mouth with a smile.
Then you both turn your vision back to the movie and from that very moment, you knew that both of your lives are going to be different.
But in a good way and you smile knowing that he feels the exact same way.
