Sena walked back to school after that fiasco was done. When she got there, Shiki blocked the entrance. Sena fell onto the ground. She could NOT get a break. She knew what they wanted. She couldn't do what they wanted. She still wasn't powerful enough. If her real mother was here, she could do it. But ....
"Hello there Sena," Shiki said while holding a yellow rose by the thorns.
Sena rushed over. She noticed his hand was bleeding. She gently pulled out the thorns. Sena wondered why he would do such a thing. Probably to get her attention. Well it worked. She took him to the nurses office and bandaged up his hand. She held his hand for a while. For some reason, she didn't want to let it go. She could feel his gorgeous orange eyes staring at her, making her blush. Her heart began to beat faster than usual. Shiki wrapped his fingers around her hand. She looked up at him. Their eyes stared at one another.
"I'm not a devil, you know," Shiki said. "Technically speaking I am an angel. Just a fallen one."
Fallen angel? Sena thought about it. It sounded pretty cool. Eventually, Sena felt something wrap around her. She looked behind to see black wings. She then looked at Shiki.
"I know they aren't much to look at, but I felt the need to show you," said Shiki.
Sena felt her heart melt. She quickly stood up and gripped his hand tightly. Before she knew it she said, "You're amazing, Shiki. Some people are just to caught up in their own shit to realize it."
Sena's body felt strong, not nervous. Shiki may have helped Her without either of them realizing it. All Sena knew was that she was comfortable around Shiki. She turned to face Shiki, but before she could look, She found herself pinned down to the bed. Shiki stared into her eyes. His face became closer. Sena wiggled around, but his grip only tightened. His lips brushed against hers. He pulled back before it became a full kiss. He instead kissed her neck, then he let her go. Sena sat up. She rubbed the part of the neck he kissed. Her face became bright red. She knew it was. She smiled and kissed Shiki's cheek.
"Thank you," she smiled.
Shiki blushed, making Sena smile even more. His smile was so cute yet creepy at the same time. She never noticed how messy his purple hair was. He had little hair horns on his head. Sena tried not to laugh but failed. He didn't seem to understand why she was laughing. That was a good thing. She finally calmed herself down. She got up to leave when Shiki grabbed her wrist.
"You can't leave me alone while I'm injuries. Considering, I did it for you," he said.
Sena sighed and plopped on the bed. This guy was a piece of work.
"Are you going to connect the devil world and the human world?" he asked.
Sena sighed, "I'm not sure. My power is only so strong. I need more training, but I don't have anyone of my kind to teach me."
"Would you if you were strong enough?"
Sena nodded, "Of course. I would love to have Rem see Ritsuka again."
Shiki hugged Sena from behind, "You're sweet, but that won't get you far."
Sena knew that. She watched her mother get devoured right before her eyes cause she was too nice. If only she hadn't followed that demon. If only she hadn't let him fool her into thinking he was hurt. If only she wasn't such a damn idiot. The thought brought tears to Sena's eyes. They fell down her cheek. She was so worthless. She couldn't help her mother. She wasn't powerful enough and she still wasn't. She hated herself. She needed to become stronger. No matter what it took. She needed to at least help Rem. She clenched her fist. She would get stronger. She would make her deceased mother proud.
Sena felt a hand on her fist, snapping her out of her thoughts. She looked over to see Shiki. His face all flushed.
"That look you were making really gets me excited," Shiki smiled.
Sena was now feeling uncomfortable. She quickly got up and darted out of the room. Why was she so into that guy?!
