About a month after the photo shoot, where Jack and Olivia first met, Road Trip were releasing their first song, and with that their first music video. This meant they needed a make up artist again, and naturally Blair asked Olivia first. Every time he hired her, for she had now worked for him on multiple occasions, he became more confident in her abilities, knowing that she was good at what she did and fast turning into a friend of the boys.
It may have been a month since the shoot, but that didn't mean Olivia hadn't been thinking about Jack, or indeed Jack thinking about Olivia. For Olivia, it was simple, she'd watched daily vlogs everyday until they disappeared, and then she'd rewatched them, each time spotting different things about Jack. For Jack it was harder, as he didn't have videos of Olivia to watch. He rewatched the photo shoot vlog whenever he was alone, but other than that it was just trying to hold on to that image of her as they left.
So, it was to the greatest surprise (and secret pleasure) that they found themselves reunited at the video shoot. Jack hadn't known Olivia was going to be there, as Blair never told them who the staff were until they turned up, although he had guessed and hoped. In a similar way, Blair hadn't told Olivia who she was doing it with so she wasn't sure if it would be Road Trip or Harvey, but she was so happy when it turned out to be Road Trip.
The video shoot was much less eventful than the photo shoot that preceded it, no roofs fell down and no people fainted, but there was still the usual Road Trip craziness. Olivia tried to keep out the way of it as much as possible, not sure if she wanted to be sucked in after everything she felt about Jack. But there wasn't a lot she could do, when a rather hyper Brooklyn dragged her into a game of hide and seek towards the end of the shoot, it was really hard to turn Brook down she was discovering.
The game went without hitch, just an ordinary game of hide and seek until she was hiding near the edge of the set while Jack was talking to the camera woman. Brook was supposed to be looking for her, but he didn't seem to be doing a very good job of it, so she couldn't help it, but she started listening to the conversation. She thought nothing of it at first, she was just hearing words but not really listening to them, until she actually started to listen.
When she did, she heard the threatening edge to the woman's tone and the heartbreakingly scared edge to Jack's, she didn't know what to do, for she was sure she wasn't supposed to be witnessing it. The woman was threatening Jack, that much she could tell, but what about, and with what she couldn't tell. But it made her scared, and she wasn't sure what she could do about it.
