The Game

Chapter One

One day in May....

"BOOM!!" The house shook, the windows rattled, the doors slammed shut, and the Lulu the rabbit woke with a start.

"THEY'RE COMING!!!" Yelled Sadie.

Lulu jumped. She looked around before running under the couch.

"Don't hide there! The couch could crush you!" Sadie barked at her.

Lulu stopped mid hop. "Then where should I hide???" Lulu asked.

Sadie thought a moment. "I don't know, hide somewhere that you aren't in danger of being crushed." Sadie answered as she ran into the bedroom.

Lulu looked around thoughtfully. Where could she hide. Lulu hopped into the bathroom looked around and hopped into the tub.

"No not here! I'm here!" came a muffled voice.

"What?" Lulu asked looking around for the voice's owner.

"Here.." Answered the voice. "Look down!"

Lulu looked down. "Ooh." She moved back, "sorry!" She hadn't even seen this, um what ever the thing was when she had hopped into the tub.

"It's fine." The thing replied.

"Um I don't mean to be rude but, uh what are you?" Lulu asked.

"What? Oh, I'm a ferret!" "My name is Daisy." She replied.

"Are you new?" Lulu asked. But before Daisy could even open her mouth the house shook again. This time with more force than before.

"BOOM!!!!"

Lulu ducked down.

"No you have to hide somewhere else!" "You'll get me found!!" Daisy squealed impatiently.

"Why?" Wait!? What do you mean I'll get you found??" Lulu asked confused.

"The game!! I'm gonna be found if you don't be quiet!!" Daisy said sighing as she pushed Lulu out of the tube.

"What game?" Lulu asked stilled confused. But Daisy didn't answer. Just then a little girl named Sophie came running into the bathroom. She ran up to the tub and looked inside.

"DAISY!!!!" She cried happily picking up the ferret. "I found you!!"

Daisy shot Lulu an annoyed glance as Sophie walked out of the bathroom carrying Daisy with her.
