The Game

Chapter 5

Lulu searched around for someone. Finally when she looked in the kids room did she find them. "Sadie!!" Lulu exclaimed surprised.

Sadie looked up surprised. "You're still in?" Good job!" She said.

Lulu smiled. "Right about that..' She said slowly.

Sadie sighed. "Lulu I told you i can't tell you-" Sadie started to say.

Lulu interrupted her. "What are we doing??" She asked.

Sadie shook her head. "I'm sorry Lulu." Sadie said.

Lulu wasn't out of ideas yet. "What are they doing?" She asked.

Sadie looked at her. "What are who doing?" She asked.

"The younger kids!" Lulu said.

Sadie looked at her sadly. "Sorry still can't say" Sadie replied.

Lulu was getting frustrated.

"Maybe try again." Daisy said from the couch. "Think outside the box." She said.

Sadie nodded. "Think about it for a minute." She added.

Lul thought about it. 'What had Mr. Whiskers said again?' she thought. Think about it. "Maybe you're not asking the right question." he had said. The right question. Then she had it. "What are you guys doing??" Lulu blurted.

Sadie smiled. " Playing Hide-and-seek." she said happily.

Lulu beamed. "Oooohhh!" She said understanding. "Now i get it."

Sadie nodded. "Yup!" She agreed. "Just don't get caught!' She added.

Lulu laughed. "I'll try not to!" She replied.

Sadie nodded then left the room in search of food.

Lulu started to leave the room but a pair of feet were blocking her way. Lulu looked up and sighed. "Oh great.." She mumbled. She had been found.

The girl, Emily picked Lulu up and grinned at her. Then shouted something that sounded like "found her" out the door. Then carrying Lulu turned and walked out.

Lulu sighed. "Well," she thought. "At least the game is over.
