Raj knew what this feeling was. He was completely sure of it. It was totally like what they showed in movies, just much more believable. He was feeling this was for someone for the first time in his life, and it was intense. Really, intense.
In only three months that he had known Simran, he was in love with her. Absolutely and madly. There was no denying it.
But what if she denied him? What if she rejected...
He did not know what she felt for him. But now he could hold it no longer. So now was it that he finally understood what confession actually meant, and why was it so necessary. Dear Lord! This overwhelming anxiety that he felt! These sleepless nights and magical, dreamy days! Oh, so beautiful!
He sat down to write something, but each time he withdrew thinking his words to be unworthy of this love, of her beauty. Once it was that he thought of drawing a sketch of her, but then he abandoned the idea: there was no way he would be able to do justice to her flawless smile.
Suddenly, he burst out laughing. He was completely losing it. His sanity; his self.
This, is exactly what they show in movies, isn't it? He chuckled to himself.

Simran had just taken a bath and was in process of dressing up when her phone buzzed.
'I bet it's that idiot Raj again. God! He is so jobless!' She picked up her phone without even fully dressing up. And Lo! It was a whatsapp notification that said: "Raj: Hey! Can we meet? I have something to tell you. Will be waiting outside your place."

Raj came out of his bathroom after taking a refreshing bath. Somehow, he felt happy today, so as to say, a little less empty. He was midway to tucking his shirt when he his phone vibrated.
He attended to it after he was ready to go to college.
'Oh Dear.' He had again kept his phone on silent, and apparently some unknown number had called him up thrice already. He was wondering who it could be when his phone buzzed again. He had received an SMS:
"Hey!
Can we meet? I have something to tell you. Will be waiting outside your place."
He froze. He couldn't believe his eyes. He almost dropped his phone with excitement.
Below the message it said:
"- Simran Dua"
He left everything else and ran out.

'Oh Dear Lord!' Anidhya exclaimed.
'What happened?' the Doctor enquired.
'Eh...nothing sir...I am sorry...it's just that...that lady...'
'Ah...yes. But nothing could be done...it was her fate perhaps,' the Doctor sighed.
But Anidhya wasn't listening. The man in front of her had captured all her attention. Why on Earth was he here! Wasn't it enough that she already had had one tragedy! Wasn't it enough that she had just lost one dear friend of hers...
'Anidhya? ANIDHYA!'
'Huh?...Eh....Yes, doctor?'
'Forget about her. Concentrate here. This man isn't talking to anyone. Try making him tell you his address or something. We need to inform his family.'
'Yes, doctor.'
She turned to the patient. He looked slightly shaken from his expression, but was lying down and staring at the ceiling and doing nothing else. She walked and sat down beside him.
'Sir...?'
He turned around. She knew him, quite well as that. But he hadn't seen her, ever.
He turned his head again to the ceiling.
'Would you like to have a glass of water, sir?' she asked politely.
It seemed for a moment that he hadn't heard a thing, but then he nodded his head very slightly. Anidhya serve him some water from the nearby jug. He rose a little, gulped it down and lay down again.
'Erm...Sir?'
'WHAT IS IT?' he turned to her, finally frustrated.
'Erm...I was wondering...what is...erm...your-'
'9213062741. My mom will receive the call. She doesn't live too far away. Just don't frighten her. Say it's nothing serious.'
Wow. That was smooth. This lady sure has her charm, the Doctor thought.
Anidhya sat at her place, perhaps even more worried about the man in front of her than what her profession required.
