Chapter 2

Glen heard a loud clang as they came to a stop. "What's going to happen now" mark asked through the darkness as a door started to open causing them to turn and look. What they saw didn't surprise them "there are a lot of people" said mark as he watched several people walk by glaring at them as they passed. "We are being glared at" said Glen "hey you there newbs" a guy said who had a large knife strapped to his side "what is it" said one of the girls on Glen's team who he didn't know their name "follow me I'll lead you to your rooms" the guy said as he turned and walked down the closest hall to him as Glen and his group ran after him. "So I think we should be introducing our selves" said the guy as he walked then he said "im Billy and you are" as he stopped before a door. "Im hazel" said a girl with short brown hair "im glen" said Glen "and im mark" mark said "im rose" the other girl said who had sea green eyes and dirty blond hair that went down to her Shoulder blades "alright let me explain things real quick" said Billy "in this arena of sorts there are three types of fights these solo survival, team survival, and sector survival". "What's sector survival" asked Glen "it's where your entire sector enters a giant arena and fights against another sector until the other gives up" Billy answered as he pulled out a key and unlocked the door behind him and opening it revealing a apartment like living area. "There are four bed rooms, two bath rooms, a kitchen, and a living room enjoy" Billy said before turning and walking away handing a key to Glen as he walked away. Mark walked in and immediately opened the door to a room, entered, then closed it behind him "well he claimed his room quickly" said rose "you two choose you're rooms then I'll take the left over room" said Glen as he sat on the couch and turned on the TV only to have it say that the arena was closed for the day. "Well that's stupid" Glen said realizing the girls were gone both having choose a room "guess I better check out my room" said Glen as he entered the only empty room left and looked around to see a bed, a dresser, and a nightstand. "Well this is just bland" said Glen as he walked over to the bed and lay down finally realizing that he was missing the sword from earlier "guess they took it before we came down here" said Glen as he closed his eyes only to sit up as someone knocked on the main door which he left his room and opened the main door to see a girl with dyed hair which was green who grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and threw him against the wall causing everyone else to burst out of their rooms. "What the hell are you doing" mark yelled "stay back mark" Glen said as he stood up having slid down the wall he slammed the door in the girl's face then locked it causing her to pound on it trying to get in. "Are you sure that's a good idea" hazel asked as the pounding stopped "yes, because im not dealing with her right now im to tired" Glen said walking back into his room only to see the girl standing there with a hole in the wall leading to the hall way. "What the-" Glen started only to be throw on to his bed and to have the girl pin him there with a knife to his throat "you will be mine" the girl said "sorry I make my own discussions​" said Glen as he threw her off of him and out the whole in the wall as Billy came running down the hall tackling the girl to the ground and putting her in a choke hold. "What the hell is wrong with you Mary they just got here and you already claim him" said Billy as he started dragging the struggling girl down the hall then he turned around and looked at Glen who was looking out the whole in the wall. "Sorry Glen you see Mary here has been waiting for a guy who she can except as he "partner" if you get what I mean" Billy said glaring at Mary who was still struggling in his choke hold "oh and don't worry about the hole it will be fixed by tomorrow" Billy continued as he turned and walked away with Mary still in the choke hold. "Well the was certainly not what I was expecting" Glen said as he walked back in to his room through the hole in the wall. Mark walked in and looked at the hole in the wall "what happened" asked mark "you really don't want to know" said Glen as he layed down in his bed putting his arms behind his head as he started at the cieling. "Ok well I was watching the TV and we have a match tomorrow against another group of newbs like our selves" said mark as he walked out of the room closing the door behind him. Glen lay in the bed just starring at the cieling listening to the sounds that echoed down the hall such as the sound of a party. After a few moments his eyes began to close as the sound of celebration slowly died into the background along with the sound of foot steps that echoed in the hall. "Hey Glen you're ok right" asked Billy who looked into the room which caused Glen to sit up "yeah, but what was wrong with that girl" asked Glen "oh you mean Mary let's just say she finds one person and decides that the person suddenly​ belongs to her but your the first one she did that to" answered billy. "I see so what do you suggest I do" asked Glen as Billy turned to leave "avoid her at all costs" said Billy who disappeared from sight as Glen flopped back down on his bed where he closed his eyes and fell asleep a few minutes later.
