*Present day*
Walking around the streets of Washington you replayed the images of that night through your head. Again and again, tormenting yourself, questioning why didn’t he fight for you? Why didn’t he say anything? Suddenly, you found yourself sprawled across the sidewalk facing a Muscular figure, his blonde hair tickling the sides of your face.
“Oh my god! Sorry, are you ok darling?” A deep husky voice emerged from the figure as they slowly clambered off and held out their hand. As you grabbed their hand you looked up towards them and saw the fear and concern spread straight across their face. That was something you hadn’t seen in a while. You gladly took the strangers hand, eyes fixated on his piercing blue eyes. “Hello? Doll, are you ok?”
“Oh, um sorry what?” you asked flustered.
“I said, are you ok? I was on a jog and I ran into you when you walked round the corner. Is there anything I can do? Walk you home? Grab a coffee?” He looked you up and down, still holding your hand. 'Ah,  what the hell it's not as if Lance waited before seeing other people, he did that while still in a relationship and a coffee isn't going to hurt anyone’
“No, it’s ok. I’m ok and sure, why not! There’s a coffee shop down the street, but first. What’s your name? Just so when you abduct me I can leave a hint for the police” you punched him playfully and he let out a deep laugh.
“You honestly don’t know who I am? Well, that’s refreshing!”
“Why?” you asked quite defensively. “Are you on the run from a secret Russian Agency that are going to used you to launch the world into a war with extra-terrestrial beings in order to capture them and breed to create a sustainable future for us in space? Oh, sorry.. I geeked ou-”
“No, go on. I was quite intrigued. Whilst I can confirm with 99.8% certainty that I am not on the run from a secret Russian agency, I am on the run from my management team. Look walk with me down to the coffee shop and I’ll tell you all about it, we look to have drawn quite an audience.” You gasped as you quickly became aware of the growing number of people around you. For those few glorious moments, staring into each other’s eyes, you didn’t have a care in the world. Nothing could have ruined it.
“Ah, yes. Ok. Let’s go, on one condition. You tell me EVERYTHING! Got it?” You were stern with him, as you looked at him you noticed his eyebrows furrowing.
“Ok, let’s go!” He whispered as he placed his muscular arm round your waist and guided you towards the vacant coffee shop. “Just let me tell you, we can’t have any more attention drawn to us. I could really do with a quiet day.”
You giggled, “No problem. I am the master of incognito. Plus I have no friends around here so… Yeah. We’ll be fine, I promise.”
No sooner had you said this he was pulled away by a strong arm and thrown to the floor. “OI! GET OFF MY GIRL!!!”
