*Lia leaned against the side of the ship, staring at her feet. This was the first time she had ever left the water tribe. She looked up to see a man about her age playing with a small ball of dirt which spun in the air. The boy caught her staring and grinned, the dirt ball shifting into the shape of dragon and flying around his hand*
Levi: Hey there!
Lia: *awkwardly tucks hair behind ear* Hello! So you're an earth bender?
Levi: *looked at her with fake shock* H-how did you know?! *the dirt bent into an arrow above his head*
Lia: *giggles* yes, dumb question I know, I've just never met one before it's kind of weird... but like a cool weird!
Levi: Feeling's mutual, do you bend?
Lia: *looks down at her blue dress* Well I am an untrained water bender. If that makes sense...
Levi: So you can bend, you just haven't been trained?
Lia: Yeah, my tribe only has about two other water benders who were born after the war, so we've all been traveling around to find different people to train us.... that's why I'm on my way to the fire nation, to train.
Levi: Cool cool... *nodded and reclined back against the mast of the ship*
Lia: *pokes at the floating dirt*
Levi: Hey! Don't hurt Pebbles!
Lia: *laughs* You named your dirt pebbles?
Levi: *crosses his arms defensively* ...and if I did?
Lia: *raises her arms* I'm not judging, it's cute-
*one of the sailors yells that they had reached the dock*
Levi: *mutters* I'm not cute...
Lia: *grins and uses a manly voice* What? Are you tough like a rock?
Levi: *cracks up and grins* Good one!
Lia: *follows him off the boat* So have you been here before?
Levi: Once or twice- hey! If you're free we could hang out for a bit, what 'a boat it?!' *pebbles pointed back to the boat *
Lia: *stares at him blankly*
Levi: *laughs hysterically at his own joke*
Lia: I don't know if I'll survive those puns, but I would love too! *smiles* Where are we going?
Levi: Market for me.
Lia: *throws bag over shoulder* Lead the way boulder man! What's your name again?
Levi: The name's hot stuff, otherwise known as Levi! *grins*
Lia: *raises her hand* I'm Lia!
Levi: Nice ta meet cha! *beams* this way. *leads her towards the market, careful to avoid large crowds*
Lia: Wow, it's really crowded here. Are we going to a specific part of the market? *gets distracted by a cute fire bender, and falls slightly behind*
Levi: *surveyed the street cautiously* hm- oh yeah! It should be around here somewhere...
Lia: *looks around* here?
Levi: *was slightly distracted* yeah- *spots the same fire bender Lia had seen earlier* oh great... *he mutters quietly* where he is, she's never far behind...
