the crescent power

Momma Kay lost her sight when she was only three years old. After the unfortunate accident she started to have these lucid dreams, but they weren’t just dreams. She dreamt about things that still had to happen or things that have already happened. But her favorite dream was the one of the boy and the girl, who didn't just see her as an old blind black woman. No to them she was a life saver she told them about their destiny. That one day only they would be able to save the world. Even though she never met them she felt a honest connection with the two she felt as if they where family. They where the only thing she had left to look forward to.

Many years later a boy and a girl where born both with a birthmark the shape of a crescent moon in their necks. That birthmark would guide them straight to each other but only when the time was right.

The girl had been named Alastrine. It meant defender of humanity she was born as the bastard child of the duke of Annwfyn. Annwfyn was a city far in the west of the old world. She has been born and raised on the streets. Well until her mother died that is. The duke of Annwfyn took her in that very day and raised her as one of his acknowledged children. From that day on she was known as Alastrine of Annwfyn.

Around the same time in a different part of the region the boy named Sloane had been born. Sloane who's name meant warrior, has been born and raised outside of the city walls of Annwfyn. He lived with only his grandparents in the woods. A little town that counted a hundred people at most they where with only 4 children of his age and he had always been the only boy around. He spend most of his days out hunting with the hunters of the town. Well with them is a little far fetched he snuck after them made his own bow and arrows in the woods and killed all the animals they could carry. Only the hunters knew of his gift. His grandparents wouldn't understand.
