Marinette woke up with the alarm beeping as always. She got dressed, and went downstairs.

"Morning mom, dad." She said casually, as if nothing ever happened. "Morning sweetheart. Did you slept well?" Her dad asked. "Yeah, it was okay." She said.

It was true though. It had been a week since the marriage explanation thing happened. And Marinette seemed to get over it. She wasn't that bothered with it anymore. But the thought of it still made her anxious sometimes. And she started to sleep better too.

She finished her breakfast that her mother had prepared, and picked up her bag to go to school. "Hold on, your not going to school today." Sabine said. "What? Why?"

She grinned. "We are going to pick a wedding dress."
Mari rolled her eyes. "Oh yeah, totally forgot about that. But do I really have to skip school?" Her mother nodded. "Oh yes. We are going to have a very long day." She said as she opened the door, gesturing Marinette to get in the car. ( yes they have a car)

They entered shop that sells wedding dresses. As they entered the shop, Marinette started around in awe. 'These dresses looks so beautiful.' She thought.
"Come on Marinette. We have loads of dresses to try on."

A worker walked up to them. "How may I help you miss?" She asked. "We are looking for a wedding dress for my daughter here, Marinette." Sabine said. The worker, who wrote Elena on her name tag, smiled.

"Well, who is the lucky guy?" She asked to Marinette. "She sighed. "I don't know who he is actually." She said. Elena gave her and Sabine a confused look, but shrugged it off.

"Anyway, let me show you the dresses that you might like." She said.

In the end, they managed to pick a lovely dress. It was a white wedding dress. Even Marinette was fascinated by it, who was totally against the whole mariage thing in the start.

"Wow mom, I have to say. You are very good at picking dresses." She said. "I know honey. That's why you went to pick the dress with me, and not your friend Alya." She said. "Oh, and speaking of Alya, have you told her that you are getting married two weeks later?"

Marinette paused. "Oh my god, I totally forgot! I need to tell her tomorrow." Her mother smiled. "Yup, you do that. Your gonna need bridesmaids at the wedding, you know." Sabine smirked.

"Yeah, I'll ask Alya and Chloe to be my bridesmaids." (Mari and Chloe are friends in this fanfic btw) Her mother nodded. "Don't you forget doing that."

Adrien sat on his couch as he waited for his girlfriend, or soon to be ex girlfriend Lila.

Then he heard his door open, and close. It was Lila.
"Adrien! You said that you wanted to talk to me. What's wrong?" "Ah, Lila. Thank goodness your here. Listen, we have to talk." "Why? What happened?"
He sighed. 'Here we go.' He thought. 'This is going to be ugly.'
"
Lila, we can't be together anymore." She suddenly had an angry expression on her face. "WHAT? Why? Did you cheated on me? Oh my god, is there someone else?! I swear to god I'll–" "Lila! No stop! It's not like that!" He said. She crossed her arms. "Then why the hell are you breaking up with me?" "I-I'm getting married in two weeks..."
"WHAT?! YOU ARE WHAT?! God, why didn't you told me before?!" "I-I couldn't, I'm sorry." She rolled her eyes.

"So, who is this skank that your getting married to?" "Lila! Don't say stuff like that! And for the record, I don't know who I'm getting married to." "What do you mean you don't know who you are gonna get married to?"

"It's-it's really complicated. It's an arranged marriage. I'm not going to meet her until a week or so."

"So is that why you are leaving me? Because of some stupid marriage?"

He rolled his eyes. "You know I can't be with you Lila. I'm engaged. I can't just cheat." She had a frustrated look on her face, and Adrien was trying his best to ignore it.

"So, uh, you should go Lila. Father is going to be mad is he finds you here. You know that he doesn't like you very much."

"Yeah, whatever. But this isn't over Adrien. You'll want me back! You'll see! You will come crawling to me!" She yelled as she stormed off.

'God.' Adrien said as he sat back down on the couch. 'Now I know why father hates her so much.'
