Destiny Sucks

Chapter 1

Kai's P.O.V.

        My name is Kai, I'm 18 years old and i live in London England, and today is a very special Day; I sat in my living room waiting. Waiting for what you might ask? Well you see when everyone is born there born with a timer, and the timer counts down till the day you meet your soulmate, weird, right? But everyone has one on there left wrist. But back to what i was saying, I made sure everyone was out of the house because I wanted to meet my soulmate without my parents bothering my soulmate by bombarding him/her with questions, because thats just who my parents are. But here I sat in my living room all alone staring at my wrist, 10 minutes left. I was getting nervous, what if they're mean, what if they look at me and than walk away, what if I'm not good enough? No I can't think like this, I have to be good enough for them they're my soulmate, and so what if there mean ill still love them, I'm meant to be with them.

        I nervously tap my foot, 8 minutes left. "Oh lord what if they're late? What if they get on the wrong bus or get hit by a car?" i thought, "No that couldn't happen than my timer would automatically go to zero if they got hit car and if they got on the wrong bus it would reset to a new time until i meet them" I corrected myself. I stand up to look out my window, Theres no one in sight, I look down at my wrist to see if the time has drastically changed, its at 8 minutes and 15 seconds. "God why am I so nervous, there probably the nicest person". I sat back down on my couch and went on my phone, I typed in my password than went on Tumblr, i scrolled through my feed, and liked all the photos not caring about what they were about. 

*slight time change*

As I put my phone away I look at my wrist, 1 minute and 30 seconds left. I nervously start pacing the room. I keep looking at my wrist hoping that the time will go up instead of down, its not like I don't want to meet them its just that I'm really nervous, Dad said he was nervous hen he met mom too but  he was glad he met her, But I don't know i kinda have a bad feeling in my stomach. I look down at my wrist again, 1 minute.

59 seconds, I look out the window

58 seconds, No ones there

57 seconds, what if they think I'm ugly?

56 seconds, nah they couldn't, right?

55 seconds, what if they're ugly?

54 seconds, even if they were id still love them

*48 second time skip*

9 seconds, I walk away fro the window

8 seconds, I sit back on the couch

7 seconds, i look at my wrist

6 seconds

5 seconds

4 seconds

3 seconds

2 seconds

1 second...

Nothing happened.. I look down at my wrist confused, what happened? Was my timer messed up? No that couldn't be... Its never happened before... unless I'm going to be the first lonely person.. Oh god no please why me... *ding dong* (thats my sound affect deal with it) wait, was that my door bell *ding dong*. I ran over to the door almost falling a couple times, I grabbed the door knob and turned it so fast i thought it was gonna fall off the door. I ripped the door open and stood the starstruck, in front of me was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, She had long red hair and the most beautiful green eyes. I stuck out my right hand for a hand shake, she takes my hand and shakes it "I'm Chloe" she says, "Im Kai" i respond, I look at her timer... oh no... hers is at 12 days, 3 hours, 35 minutes, and 15 seconds. What could have gone wrong.... I feel a connection with her, that my dad said he felt when he met mom, but her timers different. Maybe her timer is wrong? No thats impossible... Maybe she's meant for me, but i'm not meant for her..

Chloe's P.O.V.

        Im walking down the street going to my friend Blair's house when I get this weird feeling when I pass by a house, I feel the strange urge to go up to it, I look down at my wrist, nope it can't be my soulmate, its still at 12 days, 3 hours, 37 minutes, and 55 seconds. I walk up to the door curious as to why Im feeling so drawn to this persons house, The house doesn't seem any different from the other house on the streets other than the fact it doesn't have any cars in the driveway, "Maybe no ones home" I thought but I still went up to the door and rung the doorbell *ding dong* I don't hear anything so i ring it again *ding dong* than I hear running and someone almost fall, i couldn't help but laugh a little, the next thing i new the door was thrown open and a guy around 6'3 stood at the door, he looked like he had just won the lottery, he looked me up and down and smiled even more, I was confused. He stuck out his hand for me to shake it, so I did, "Im Chloe" i said "Im Kai" he replied, he's really cute i thought to myself, if i didn't have a soulmate id want to be with him, whoever gets him as a soulmate must be lucky as hell. I saw him look down at my wrist and frown, hm i wonder what thats about. oh well. " Sorry for interrupting your day Kai, I just had this strange urge to come knock on your door" I said I looked down sheepishly. "Its okay" Kai said "Wanna come inside? I feel like we would be great friends" he said with a sort of sad smile, I looked down at my phone, "Blair can wait" I thought....

Hey guys I know this chapter is kinda short but I just wanted to give it a test run and also comment if you want me to continue the story! And ill try and write as much as I can but I have a job interview tomorrow so I might be a little busy if I get the job!
