Zane and I arrived at their house about 10 minutes after silence. It wasn't awkward but more comftorable. He told me to brace myself, but i didn't know why. I was so excited to see Sean. I litterally hopped out of the car. I had butterfly's in my stomache. When I saw Sean i ran to him. My legs wrapped around his waist. He grabbed onto
my waist and we embraced. I leaned in closer when he turned his head so instead of planting a kiss on his lips it was on his cheek. I had figured that it was because Zane was right behind us" until i heard someone clear their throat. I turned around and their was a girl, fair skin, big brown eyes, and auburn hair.
"oooooh Zane didn't tell me that he had a girlfriend." i whispered to Sean. his face fell
"Anna-" he started
"yeah?" i questioned
"This is my girlfriend. Emily" he managed to get out
"your girlfriend" i choked
"yahh" he smiled a half smile
"hi! she chirped i'm Emily but I mean you already know that so uhmm. anyway Anna you wouldn't believe how much Sean talks about you" she said smiling but to me she just sounded like a bitch that just stole my man, the love of my life, my soulmate,my bestfriend
"hi. I'm Anna. umm Zane can you help me bring my bags to my room please."
"sure"
Zane and I walked up the stairs and he started talking "Anna, I-"
"don't apologize for your brother please"
"yeah but Anna i knew and i knew you guys were gonna go out this summer. I had your number I coulda told you"
"no i'm fine." i scrunched up my nose to keep the tears from falling.
Zane dropped my suitcase and came over and hugged me. I buried my face in his shirt. and wrapped my arms around him too. I took the chance and let everything out. I thought about how me and Sean had planned evertything out. He's my bestfriend he could've at least had the decency to call me and tell me instead of me flying all the
way out here just to get my heart broken. Zane was stroking my hair saying 'i'm sorry' over and over again. I got out of his embrace and turned my head embarressed. Then heard the familiar voice again calling my name. I tried to answer but nothing came out. "Anna"Sean said a litlle louder.
I turned around toward him. "Why" i asked "why couldn't you just man up and tell me instead of being a little girl and fuckin' my whole summer up." i said. He looked suprised as i don't normally yell or curse for that matter. "You know what I don't even care." and with that i ran upstairs. Letting the tears fall once again.
I waited until i heard a knock on my door. I opened it and saw my suitcase. i grabbed it. and took out a pair of tight fitting skinny jeans and a shirt. with the words 'DON'T FUCK WITH ME' on it I turned on the shower head and got in. i let the water flow over me.
After my shower. I put on my clothes and put on my juicy couture perfume. I went downstairs and heard yelling, It was Zane and Sean.
"That shit was foul bro and you know it" Zane
"You think I wanted to fall in love with another girl." said sean that one felt like i took one to the gut.
"I don;t give a fuck! you messed up"
"Zane i waited for her for a long time and another one came along and guess what i'm happy."
"Damn you just don't get it. You may be happy Sean but what about Anna's happiness."
"Why and the hell are you so worried about Anna huh?"
"Cause I thought i taught my little brother better than that. but i guess i was wrong"
"whatever when you see Anna tell her to meet me and Emily at the dinner.
I hear a pfft. from Zane. When I knew for sure that Sean left I went downstairs. I plastered a fake smile on my face.
"hey, didn't think you'd be out anytime soon."
"yah me neither but ya' know i'm here in sunny California. surronded by the beach. and hot surfrer dudes." i lied well not about the 'hot surfrer dudes
"yah well i'm glad your'e not gonna let my brother hold u down. He knows what he did wasn't right. and that was a bitch move on his part."
"well i'll get over it I guess."
"yeah, so my brother wants you and i to go down to the diner with him and Emily. if your'e totally against it than we don't have to go.
"i'm cool might as well make sure my bestfriend is happy. and Emily isn't a bitch."
"I guess she's pretty chill" he hesitated on saying that
"i'm fine."
On the way to the diner. I realized that Zane is a great person for coming with me because i remember Sean saying that he wanted ME to come. but Zane came too. i smiled at him.
"what?" he asked
"nothing. but can I ask you a favor. "
"yeah sure."
"can I umm uh ya know like stick around with you for the summer. Really don't wanna be bymyself. ya' know like all the time."
"course dreamer, it's what i'm here for." he said using my child hood name.
"thanks."
