Daniel's POV: Jesus Christ! I've been such a coward I haven't told Alex anything Ugh! But today it's the today I will! In that case I've told myself that for the past 6 months and yet nothing... No! I will tell her tonight!

Daniel: Hey Alex!

Alex: Hey! whats up?!

Daniel: Nah nothing interesting (chuckles) But I was wondering.. If you would like to go night watching earlier today!?

Alex: Yeah sure! I love seeing the sunset! But can I know why?

Daniel's POV: Great, now what I tell her? Oh god what do I do? Just come up with a very stupid but believable excuse!

Daniel: No it's just that my parents want me to come home earlier today thats all

Alex: Oh ok!

The day went by and I felt that something weird was going on, everyone was like worried for something, so I went to talk to Mako.

Mako: Hey Mako!

Mako: Oh hey Alex! Um.. what are you doing here?! (he was kind of nervous)

Alex: Hey! are you ok?

Mako: Yeah! why would you think otherwise?

Alex: Because everyone is acting very weird lately and need to know what are you all so worried about.

Mako: (sighs) Ok I'll tell you but I better call Jinora first.

Jinora: So Alex you want to know?

Alex: Yes!

Jinora: You better tell her.

Mako: Ok look Alex we just found out a new organization called The Foot Clan, who had been making attacks all around New York City and we don't know what to do.

Alex: What? why didn't you told me about this before?

Jinora: We just wanted to see if we could take care of it before asking for your help.

Alex: And you were planning to wait longer before asking me?

Jinora: No we were about to tell you about it.

Alex: yeah right.

I went out pretty mad.

Daniel: Hey Alex you ready to go night watching 

Alex: (I tried to calm down) Yes! I really need to do something right now.

Daniel: Ok then let's go.

We went flying away (by firebending through our feet and using them as rockets) then we went running and jumping.

Alex: Come on try to catch up!

Daniel: Hey, wait up! check this up!

There were a group of guys pointing a guns towards a family. So we decided to jump in to stop them.

Alex: Hey drop that gun now! 

Foot soldier 1: Ha! don't make us laugh little girl now get away before I kill you too.

Daniel: She said drop the gun.

Foot soldier 1: You want to die, so be it.

He shoot at us but we avoided them, and I earthbended and put his feet still so that he couldn't move and Daniel took the gun from him, but what it was about to happen I never saw it coming, I heard a multiple gunshots and then I felt down, I saw Daniel flying towards the guy on the rooftop who shot me and took him down. Then I saw being on Daniel's arms while we were flying, then I faded. 

Professor X: Good thing that you brought her here.

Daniel: How didn't I saw this coming!? of course it was a trap! 

Storm: Daniel calm down ok! 

Daniel: How am I suppose to calm down while she has multiple bullets in her body right now!

Professor X: Logan! come look at this!

Logan: Does this mean... 

My body was ejecting by its own the bullets and the wounds were closing in a matter of seconds. Then I jumped from the table looking around and even a bit freaked out.

Alex: What!? What!? What!?

Logan: Hey!, Hey!, Kid don't worry you're fine (saying it and looking at my eyes to calm me down)

Alex: What happened?

Daniel: You were shot at least 9 times.

Alex: wait what? then how am I ok?

Logan: Because you have a healing factor just like I do. 

Professor X: It must have been activated by the pain, sometimes your body reacts to what do you need, and so it reacted this way.

Daniel: Alex! You're ok! (telling me that while hugging me)

Alex: Of course I am!

Daniel: I was afraid I had lost you.

Alex: Nah, you never will even if you want to. (chuckles)

Daniel: (sighs with happiness while pulling me away) 

Alex: Come on let's watch the sunset!

Daniel: sure thing!

Alex: Thank you for everything guys!

We ran away and then we sat down in the grass and watched the sunset, I gotta admit I loved that moment.

Alex: can I tell you something?

Daniel: sure!

Alex: Well I prefer sunsets more than Sunrises.

Daniel: Really?

Alex: yeah; there is more color in the sunset.

Daniel: huh, now that is something interesting.

Alex: (laughs with Daniel)

Daniel: Ok so now can I tell you something?

Alex: Yeah sure!

Daniel: Well a few minutes ago when I had you in my arms while you were bleeding out, I couldn't think of other thing other than to have at least moment with you to tell you what I've been meaning to tell you for the past year, (sighs) Ok so here it goes (shudders) Alex I really but really like you, like you have no idea how much.

Alex: (gasps) 

Daniel: Since the moment I saw you leaning on the fences of the firebending matches, I just saw that you were different but in a unique and amazing way, then I just fell in love of you, not your powers or what you could do, but with the girl that is behind the Avatar.

Alex's POV: I didn't know how to feel about this very special words, because I really liked him too but I think that I still have feelings for Jack, but I could see that he wasn't going to come back, so I better give this very sweet and smart guy, who I'm sure that would never leave me.

Daniel: So.. um.. Alex?..

Alex: What took you so long? 

Then I hugged him. 

Alex: (pulled him away for a second) I really like you too!

Then I hugged him again and he hugged me back.
