"Hey, dude. You still sure about this?" Andrew said to Oliver. "Yeah man, we're going to get some great footage!" Oliver replied. The two boys were going to the local abandoned house to get some footage for their crumbling youtube channel. And yes, they are aware of what happens in horror movies.
"The camera's memory is wiped, so we can get heaps of footage. We should get going, otherwise, we'll miss the "witching hour" ". Yes. It was 1 am in the morning. And no, their parents did not know. And according to Oliver, they wouldn't care. You see, Oliver was the type of person who was oblivious to everything. Feelings, rules, learning etc. He was also a general jerk.
But Andrew, on the other hand, noticed everything. He was also quite clumsy, and although he wouldn't admit it, a little paranoid. No one knows or remembers how the two boys became best friends, but they did anyhow.
So, wrapped up in jumpers, and carrying their equipment, they set off into the night.

The walk isn't too long. Just 15 minutes. Both Oliver and Andrew hesitated in the front yard, reconsidering their mission. They were only rumours, right?
Andrew smelt a funny smell before he noticed Oliver walk up the pathway. It almost smelt like - like rotting flesh! Well, what Andrew thought rotting flesh would smell like.
He was about to tell Oliver that they should leave when he heard the door creak open. "Olly" Andrew hissed as he chased him up the steps and to the door. "I think-" he started, but Oliver had already walked inside.
Andrew looked back at the dying lawn out the front, then at the full moon. He deiced that he didn't want to be by himself, or leave that oblivious jerk by himself either. So after taking a deep breath, he followed his friend inside.
