"Who did this?" A voice screamed, stomping her foot. Alec cringed, walking in, he pointed to Maggie.

"She did this!  I saw her!" Alec cried, looking to see the woman. She had long ginger hair, tied into braids. She had a flowing dress, it was dark pink, though the deeper it got, the lighter it got.

"Maggie! A wittness?" She shouted, glaring at her. Maggie put a hand to her chest. She gasped, looking at Alec.

"But, Queen! He is lying! I was with Author!" She shouted, glaring at him. She turned around, leaving on her heels, growling.

"Thank you, what is your name?" She asked, leaning on the counter. Alec shyly nodded, was she really the queen?

"I'm Alec, this-this is Caylah, and y-you know Mya, right?" She nodded her head, grabbing a case of spice.

She walked up the stairs, calling for the chef. He ran down, a few other people following. There was a lanky girl, oddly thin, with short blonde hair. The rest were short, and chubby.

"These are my chefs. Come now, see my king," she moved her hand. They walked on the cobblestone floor, Caylah staring at it.

"Ella, hello," said a deep, and rough voice. Ella walked into the throne room. This was the grandest room in the whole mansion.

"Salutations, Author," Ella greeted, walking up to the throne beside him. Her throne was shorter, gold rimmed each angle. A pink cushion sat in the middle of the huge chair.

"Who are they?" He said, an almost threatening voice. He moved his hands to hold his head, his growl echoed around the kingdom, sending maids running in the other side of the palace. Alec gulped, Caylah stepped up, smiling and waving.

"I'm Caylah, this is Alecat, and you know Mya?" She beamed, walking forward. Author rolled his eyes, sinking into his chair. He looked to his wife with a disgusted look.

"Sadly, yes," he breathed, snapping his fingers. Slowly, a guy walked in, he had a brown diamond on his head. He gulped, "pauper, time is it?"

"By the look of the sun, it-it is 8:00, master," his voice cracked, he looked up, his brown eyes sparkling. It was unexplainable, his eyes were absolutely breathtaking. Alec had boring eyes, but he had beautiful ones, they mad Alec jealous. He looked to the side, impatiently tapping his foot.

"Why is it so late, goddamn it?" He cursed, Caylah cringed stomping over in front of the two thrones.

"Maybe because, time DOESN'T fly when your NOT having fun. Act your own dang age. By now, you should know that even if you don't like someone, BE NICE, understand?" Caylah preached, putting her hands on her hips. She turned around walking away. And, as always, she sassily, cried out in pain, her legs really hurt.

"Are-"

"How dare you speak to me, me! The king!" He dared, standing. He was double Caylah's height. Caylah put her hands out. He sprinted over to her, eyes digging into his head.

"I dare, because you DO NOT have the right! Sure! You're the king!" Caylah hissed. He stopped in front of her, growling at her. She looked up, wiping the tears from the corner of her green orbs.

"Stop it! I command you!" Ella snapped back, standing up. She marched over. "She's like eight years old! She's like four foot! Your eight foot two! There's a huge difference there!"

"Shut your trap, woman," he rolled his eyes. Pushing Caylah by her shoulders back. Caylah snarled.

"Don't treat her like that, man!" Caylah sneered, shoving him back. He stumbled back, he punched her, she fell against the wall, she touched her cheek, which had a large bruise. It stung. Tears welled in her glossy eyes. She wiped them.

"Fight me, BITCH!" Caylah screamed, kicking his shin. He fell back, Caylah climbed onto of him, straddling his hips. Caylah punched him, clawing at the purple mark she made.

He shoved her off of him, she hit the wall. Crying out in pain. Alec ran over to Ella, knowing well enough he didn't want to get hurt by him.

"Do something!" Alec said as if it was obvious. By then, Mya ran out the room. Ella wiped her own tears. She hugged Alec.

"I can't," she whispered. Alec shook his head. He glared down at her.

"Do it," Caylah shouted, they turned around, paying all their attention to the fight. Caylah rubbed her eyes. But, Author had a knife.

"That's it," he muttered, he ran towards the two. He jumped, kicking Author's side. He grabbed the sharp dagger, this time he was mounting Author.

"L.E.A.V.E," he fizzed, cutting a small line in his neck. He sat up, standing beside Caylah. He was cleaning some blood off his younger sister lip, when he was punched so hard he fell onto Caylah, knocked out. Caylah sharply inhaled. Author continued to beat he unconscious boy.

Caylah cried out, pushing him away from Alec. Caylah yelped as she was pick up, and slammed against the white wall.

"Stop it!" Caylah cringed, kicking his crotch. He screamed, she pushed him down, and grabbed Alec.

Ella lead them into the infirmary. A deaf boy started to work. Another paid slave looked over Pedro's shoulder. They worked, getting Alec on what he needed. Pedro took Caylah, and helped her clean and bandage her wounds. They dressed Author in a new suit.

"Will they be okay?" Ella asked. Pedro nodded, tying another bandage around Caylah's left arm.

Mya walked in, a few daisies in her hands. She handed them the white flowers, frowning.

"I'm sorry I couldn't help," Mya whispered, she blushed. Caylah cracked a lazy grin.

"You helped just enough, thank you, Mya," Caylah thanked, her voice was faint and scratchy. She looked behind Pedro. Mya waved her fingers. Her pink diamond shone in the bright lights.

"I was scared. So I ran away," she told the truth, walking to Alec's side. Alec whimpered in his sleep.
