so a couple days ago my entire school was just told that our school was closing down. I cried so hard because I have been at that school for forever to be real since 1st grade and it was just so upsetting because teachers were very upset and they didn't even know until the day we got the letter saying it was closing down. we got a little hint that something bad was going to happen because we had a lot of security guards and very important people at our school. then my principal came in to our class and asked how many people were in our class, my teacher said 21 students. later we went to the computer lab and my friend reahanna (kirkerlove1122) came up to me in panic saying our school was closing and she over heard a teacher saying that and that is why we are getting letters sent home. I didn't believe her so I asked my teacher Mr.Hightower if it was true and he didn't answer me. so I got a little nervous and I kept telling reahanna that it wasn't true. so when Mr. Hightower gave us little envelopes we ran to the class room to get our stuff. then I opened the letter and there it was. imagine charter school of sierra was closing down for good. I looked up at my friends and then I teared up. I could not believe what I just read my favorite school and only school I've ever been to was closing down.
I went across the hall to my other teacher Mrs. Scott and I looked up at her and I asked her is this a joke? is this really happening? she looked at me and said "yes that is why we have so many very important people at our school and that's why we have security guards here." I stood there in shock and I just froze, the only thing I knew and cared about was going to be sold to some one else. after all the students left to go outside I ran to Mrs. Scott and I looked at her and teared up you could tell she had teared up a little to but of course she's a teacher and she wasn't going to let it out in front of a student. I cried and I felt so embarrassed because who wants to cry in front a teacher, but to me she was more than a teacher she was like a best friend, she was every ones best friend. she gave me a hug and said it will be alright and we can always see each other out of school. I said I know but I just cant believe that its really happening the school I have known and loved Is going away and its never coming back. when my mom came and picked me up I gave her the letter and I started to ball out cry.
