The kind of love that isn't tainted by the impurities of the nasty world.
The kinda love that they had.

Two years of being friends with her.

Normally best friends would go out and celebrate by eating a bunch of cake or something.

But she is unique.

She's all the great things in the world. She is my world.
But love takes time, especially if you can't see it.
It may be there but love is blind.
It's not always blind though, some people just see what they want and get it.

Others? Not so lucky.
They get stuck in that useless oblivion.
You know, the one where Guy meets Girl, They become "BFFs" and share their inner most secrets.
But yet the annoying butterflies you get around are passed off as just "normal".

Its not normal
It's not normal to want to show her what love really is and what love can do.
It's not normal
It's not normal to get jealous if she looks at her own boyfriend, whether he treats he right or not.

But it is normal to have joy around her
That bubbling joy that just makes you wanna sing.
And as they say "Love takes time"
But what they forget to mention is it hurts like hell.
And sometimes you don't realize that it's love.

Not until their 6 feet under.

But you know, " Love takes time " sometimes too much time.
