Uh, first of all, I would like to give a forewarning about the contents of this story: I am afraid that the dialogues and actions of the characters in this story might cause offensive criticism on your part that is why I'm going to discuss it first thing here before you proceed on reading.
So, here we go. The setting of the story takes place in the Philippines, meaning the evironment, the culture, and the Filipino traits and characteristics will be reflected here. Moreover, there are parts of the Filipino culture that might be offensive to other culture, like for example, Filipinos are natural bullies! If you don't have a strong heart then, you might end up depressed. Yes, we're kind of savages but not to the extent that a person would commit suicide (although, there are cases that had come that far but it's a different story). We're bullies especially to our true friends. You know, how a brother teases his little sister. That's how we show our love towards our friends since we are shy.
Another thing of my concern is the dialogues of the characters. I am afraid that someone would comment, complaining about being a racist. No, no, no. I will never encourage something that would cause barrier between us. Everything you read here reflects the society and culture in the Philippines but I want you to remember that everything you read here regarding the colour of a person is just a teasing as part of a friendly intimacy.
Most of my female characters in this story are no damsels in distress; they are kind of feisty. So that, I think, explains their actions and opinions that you will read later.
