Chapter 1- Quest to France?!

2 months later

Nicos POV

I was packing to leave this shit excuse of a camp, until Chiron called me to his cabin.
I sighed but went knowing it was something important.

"Chiron" I said, knocking on the door.
"Come in" I heard from inside.
I walked in with my stygian sword by my side.

"I don't have alot of time so hurry up" I said in a bored tone.

"I know your not really happy at camp so I thought you might like .... to go to France, for an important quest....  actually not really a quest, a task "

"A Quest in France?!! No bother, I'll handle it".I exclaimed, smirking slightly.
Any way that I could get out of camp was ok.
I was gonna run away but seems like the gods have answered my prayers (specifically Hades).
"You seem keen about the quest, any reason" he questioned, narrowing his eyes at me.

"Just cause, there hasn't been a quest in a while." I shrugged,knowingly lying.

"Well , its not very exciting but you just need to find a demigod. I don't have any description of her so good luck."

"Its weird that a demigod is in France but how am I supposed to find her then"

"All I know is she's in Nice, France and when you find her she'll have a very odd aura, dark and different aura.That's how you'll know its her"

"A different aura? Whats does that make her, is she powerful or something" I questioned suddenly interested.

"I don't really know, the gods have requested this quest as they want to discover her and find out who's her parent."Chiron replied looking a bit worried .

"I'll leave tonight then.
Any other information?"

"Oh yes, she works in a cafe, that should make it easier for you"

"Alright, i'll be out of camp soon" I replied as he nodded at me.
The fuck was this girl, Im sensing some trouble coming up.
It was broad daylight and I made my way to the pavilion for lunch, though I had no interest.
Yesterday was an action packed night, if ya know what I mean;).
A/n hahah cringeee.

"Nico! Nicoo!!" I heard someone scream behind me.
It was only last night that I had heard those same screams but in a quite....different situation and place.
"Yesss"I said uninterested.
"Sooo, about last night, I was hoping we could go out on another date then you knowe otherr stuff" She whispered and giggled.

What the fuck

"Soz, Im going on a quest amd I hate to break it to you but ysesterday was a mistake.I just got a bit carrird away so don't think about it too much, it wont happen again".
It was true, It was supposed to be a stupid date that I went on because I lost a dare.

The smile on her face turned upside down as she took in what I said.
"What, you can't say that,  your lying! Nobody turns me down, not even the great nico di angelo. You'll regret this, trust me you'll come back begging for me!" She screamed as she glared at me.

"Haahahah was that supposed to scare me" I rolled my eyes at her chilidishness and walked away.

Daughters of Aphrodite I scoffed.
What can you do.

I was packing for my trip until Hazel walked in looking furious.
" Jeez Hazel calm down" I told her as she slammed the door behind her.
"Nico what did you say to Cherry, shes been screaming at everyone including me about you.Stop toying around and get yourself an actual girlfriend for once" she said in annoyance.

"I didnt do anything she's just over reacting.Everyone knows what I'm like by now so she shouldn't be surprised anyways."

She sighed knowing there was no way I would change my ways.This wasnt the first time she'd lectured me on this.

"Im going on a quest by the way, today" I told her,
breaking the silence
"Whats the quest"she inquired
"Just to find a new demigod"
"Its been a while to be honest, well good luck, I'll iris message you" she said and gave me a quick hug.
"Sure"

I was sitting on a plane to France looking at the skies.
I was also fucking shitting myself knowing this was Zeus's territory.
I expected him to suddenly bring out his lightning bolt and go "ZAP!" any monent now.

A/n I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I'm not going to be casting someone as nico because I can't find someone who fits the description of him ,the way I envision him.

Also I know this is not what you expect Nico's character to be like but this character in kinda inspired by another fanfic I read about Nico.I thought it kinda suited him.As you continue reading you'll understand why he's so different now and why he changed.
